  My husband took our daughter's 2025 Hyundai Elantra in for an oil change and tire rotation. I scheduled the appointment online, and when he brought it in to be serviced he was quoted $119 for the oil change and tire rotation. My husband was not impressed that the employees were walking around throwing around the "F" word. Trust me we curse too, but we know there is a time and place and at work where you should be professional is not it! He was told that the air filter needed to be replaced, but the old one was not shown to him. He then proceeded to check out and much to his surprise it was a lot more than he had been quoted. He informed the individual checking him out that he was quoted $119 (plus tax) for the services, but was told that was only for the oil change. They were going to charge him $185 until he complained about being told one price, but now being charged another. The explanation was they only had us scheduled for an oil change (which wasn't true) and they see numbers that the individuals checking appointments in do not. They ended up discounting it, and he ended up paying around $130. During this time another customer had been informed that they had damaged her vehicle, and would be liable to fix it. Well duh! This was our first time here and our last, very unprofessional and untrustworthy.

  A protective panel underneath my car came loose. I called the service department on a Saturday and was told by “R” to bring it by the next day after 10am to have it checked out. I arrived only to be told by the on duty service person ( not “R”) that no one was there to diagnose the problem and therefore I would need to come back the next day. I expressed my displeasure in what you might call a “forceful” way since I had driven from Dunnellon and was following instructions from “R”. The service advisor told me he would personally check it out and fix it himself—- which he did in a very timely manner AND there was no charge. I wish I’d gotten his name so I could point him out for his outstanding service by going above and beyond to fix the issue. Thank you very much, young man.

  I recently purchased a 2022 Ford Sport Big Bend Bronco from Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala. My experience was exceptional! The waiting area is a nice size and they have a small cafeteria with a cook ready to cook you something delicious from their menu while waiting on your car. My service advisor was Samuel Hannah, very professional young man that made sure my car was detailed and inspected thoroughly before driving it off the lot. My sales person was Carolyn Davis. She is the best! She is personable, straightforward, speaks to you like she has known you forever; she has also worked there for 23 years at the same location! Make sure to ask for her and Samuel Hannah, they will take care of you!

  Jenkins Hyundai — what a nightmare. We originally went there to purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately, the finance manager apparently didn’t have the ambition—or the ability—to get my son approved. Rather than waste any more time, we went somewhere else and ended up purchasing THREE brand-new vehicles! You’d think that would be the end of it, but we later went back to Jenkins Hyundai for service. That’s when we were told they wouldn’t service the vehicle because we didn’t purchase it from them. Seriously? The management is disappointing, finance was completely unhelpful, and the service department was even worse. Apparently, customer service only applies if you buy the vehicle from them. We took our business elsewhere—and based on our experience, we’ll be keeping it elsewhere. Three new cars later, I can confidently say we made the right decision.

  I am writing to express my frustration with a recent service experience. If it were not for the intervention of my amazing sales consultant, Carolyn, I would not have received my car in time to commute to work. Because I work two jobs and rely heavily on my vehicle, I intentionally asked the service department to confirm they had the necessary tire in stock before I even stepped out of my car. They reassured me they did, so we dropped the vehicle off on a Sunday with the clear understanding it would be ready the same day. I was completely misinformed. When it turned out they did not have it, I was offered an alternative tire that would not match the others on my newly purchased vehicle. It ultimately took two days to replace a single tire. For a vehicle that this dealership sells frequently, keeping standard tires in stock should be a priority. Brand transitions should not result in customers being asked to accept mismatched equipment. The inventory management at this location needs immediate review.
