I beought my 2020 Cadillac XT5 to Honda of Ocala for nothing more than a routine oil change which came with their warranty when I purchased the vehicle. My appointment was at 9:10 a.m. When I dropped the vehicle off, it was operating normally. It started, shifted into Drive without issue, and dealership personnel moved it multiple times while it was in their service bay.
Less than an hour later, I received a call from Mark asking me to return because the vehicle would no longer shift into Drive. It was now displaying a "Service Shifter" message. I had never experienced this issue before bringing my vehicle to the dealership.
While I was there, one of the service technicians told me that GM vehicles can fail without any warning. The service manager suggested I check for recalls and take the vehicle to a GM/Cadillac dealership for repairs. However, the problem only appeared while my vehicle was in Honda of Ocala's possession after they had already moved it several times. While the vehicle was moved out the bay I took a look and noticed that my shifter was cracked like it was forced or pulled back with alot of force. (See pictures)
I also contacted Honda of America and spoke with Gabby, who advised me that Honda technicians are not GM-certified technicians. That made it even more concerning that I was simply told to take the vehicle elsewhere instead of having the dealership fully address what happened while the vehicle was in their care.
To make matters worse, I waited approximately four hours for a loaner vehicle. When I finally received it, it was filthy, covered in cat hair, and still contained receipts and personal items from the previous driver.
What concerned me the most was that I was instructed to hold the shifter down in order to drive the vehicle home despite having a 37-mile drive. Asking a customer to operate a vehicle in that condition is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns.
I have included photos showing the condition of the shifter after the incident.
I expected a routine oil change. Instead, I left with a vehicle that would not properly shift, significant inconvenience, and a recommendation to take my vehicle somewhere else. It's I've thing for them to break it and then fix it, it's another to cover it up and make heard working customers pay for your negligence.
Honda of Ocala, please take responsibility for what occurred and resolve this matter appropriately with a certified GM / Cadillac technician.

Hello everyone, I had a Great customer service experience at the Honda of Ocala dealership which is located in the Ocala, Florida area.
They offer a complimentary, simple breakfast for all Honda customers which was a definitely new, and interesting experience for me.
Their customer service representatives were also knowledgeable and answered my questions well. Honda of Ocala, keep up the Great work. Thanks!

Was told a estimate over phone that was in line with other estimates I received but when I got there, I was charged $131.00 to look at my air conditioner and tell me I need a new one, which I already knew. Then the price was twice as much as the estimate. When I decided to take my car somewhere else, Rob changed his attitude and was no longer pleasant. He then made me wait 45 minutes to checkout , while taking new customers before me. This was the worst experience I have with any business in a long time. A complete waste of time and money.
