Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking my husband‘s Honda in for an oil change. I had nothing but five star service all the way around. Alan had me checked in and out in record time, and that included a car wash! He was fantastic throughout my visit. Leon got me set up to replace my windshield. His service was also fantastic. This was by far the best experience I have ever had getting an oil change. From now on, I will be bringing my car, which is a different make, to Honda and not taking it to the dealership where I purchased it. Please keep your employees happy and well paid. Thank’s to all involved for the fantastic service.
Very disappointed with the service after purchasing my Honda CR-V from this dealership. It has been three weeks since I bought the vehicle, and I am still dealing with unresolved issues.
One of the keys was missing at the time of purchase. A few days later, I was told the key had been found, but when I arrived to pick it up, they suddenly could not locate it. I was then told a replacement key had been ordered, yet I have still not received any update or follow-up.
In addition, the vehicle had a scratch that I requested to be repaired before delivery, and nobody has contacted me regarding that either.
To make matters worse, my tag expires on May 21, and I am concerned because of the lack of communication and urgency from the dealership.
Customer service after the sale has been extremely disappointing. I simply want the issues resolved and someone to contact me with an update.
TOP NOTCH dealership from top to bottom. Stop your search and contact this dealer right now. I drove an hour and a half away from my home in Mount Dora due to their high level customer service. After contacting multiple local Honda dealers in my area(Orlando) and running into arrogant dealers from Tampa to Orlando to Daytona, I got a quote from Honda of Ocala. Breath of fresh air. Respectful price from the jump without playing the “games” so many old fashioned dealerships still operate by. These guys WANT your business. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and had fantastic communication. From Jayden the BDC Agent, to Rachel the Sales Manager, Shac my Sales Associate, to Tom in Finance…a pleasant experience the whole way through. I first started working with the internet department (Jayden) and they were prompt and courteous in answering my questions and scheduling an appointment. When I arrived at the dealership my salesperson was Lewquan Burnett. He was very friendly and helpful. There was a little hiccup with the price since I wasn’t using their financing but Lewquan worked with his manager and they honored the deal. I then worked with Scott in Finance to finish signing paperwork. He was very thorough and knowledgeable during the whole process. He knew I was hesitant about purchasing one of the warranty/protection packages and said I could cancel with a full refund if I decided afterwards I didn’t want it. It was 2 hours past closing when we finally finished up and Lewquan was waiting to go over all the new car features and answer any questions, no rushing even though it was so late. Enjoyed my experience and would do business with them in the future!
I had a bit of a frustrating start with Honda of Ocala, but thankfully it turned into a great experience in the end.
I initially spoke with Rachel, the Internet Sales Manager, who told me she would hold a car for me. I was driving nearly two hours to purchase it, and even called on the way to let them know I was running slightly late but still coming. When I called, Brandy answered and told me the car was in the process of being sold, and suggested I look at a different vehicle at a completely different price point. That was extremely frustrating after being told the car would be held.
We asked to speak with a manager and eventually connected with Brian Lugo. He explained that they typically do not hold cars for that exact reason, which I understand—but it was frustrating given what I had been told earlier and the distance I had already traveled.
I will say, based on this experience, I would not choose to work with Brandy or Rachel from the Internet sales department again due to the miscommunication and how the situation was handled.
That said, Brian really turned the situation around. He worked with us to put together a great deal on a new car and made things right.
Once we arrived, we worked with Alex Bowers, who made the entire buying process smooth, easy, and stress-free. He was professional, helpful, and a pleasure to work with.
While the initial miscommunication was disappointing, I truly appreciate how Brian and Alex handled everything and made sure we left happy. In the end, I’m very happy with my new car and the resolution they provided. Thank you Alex and Brian!
