  Dear General RV Team, I wanted to take a moment to recognize Marshall (parts/service) and thank him for the exceptional service he provided while helping us learn our new camper. From the moment we met him, Marshall was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we understood every feature of our RV. He took the time to answer all of our questions, explained everything clearly, and never made us feel rushed. As first-time owners, that meant more to us than we can say. Marshall’s professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail gave us the confidence to begin this new adventure. He made what could have been an overwhelming experience enjoyable and exciting. It is clear that he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in the work he does. Please extend our sincere appreciation to Marshall for going above and beyond.   I would give 0 stars if I could. Our experience with General RV in Ocala has been beyond frustrating. We scheduled a welding appointment one month in advance. After driving over an hour to get there, and when we were only 10 minutes away, we received a phone call telling us they didn’t actually have a welder available. There was no real solution offered just essentially, “Sorry.” We rescheduled for the following week. Because we live full-time in our Brinkley RV, we specifically scheduled it as a wait appointment. We dropped it off at 9:00 AM, only to receive a call later after our RV had been sitting there. We were then told the repair would take four times longer than originally estimated and that they first needed authorization from Brinkley before proceeding. At that point, since no work had actually been completed and the timeline had completely changed, we decided to take our RV home. That’s when we were told we would still be charged for the hours they had spent on it even though nothing had been repaired. The entire experience was a waste of two trips, hours of driving, and a lot of unnecessary stress for a full-time RV family. Unfortunately, our service advisor, Audrie, provided very poor customer service throughout the process. Communication was lacking, expectations were repeatedly changed, and there was little effort to make the situation right. We will never return to General RV in Ocala and cannot recommend their service department based on our experience.

  Purchased a brand new camper less than a month ago. When it came to sales, Luis was phenomenal. In terms of service, we are not happy at all. We have already had to replace GFCI and now are having to tow it back for a leak. This was purchased and intended for my mom to live in full time so having to undo everything for something that might be a simple fix is ridiculous. I could understand if this was happening some time down the road but the first payment has not even been made and we are already needing warranty work.

  Just bought new 2026 Coachman. The dealership was good during the sales process. We had the rv delivered to us which was about 60 miles away from the dealership due to us having some extras applied that they Sold us. Two days later we were packing to head out on first trip and we found out the cabin/box battery was completely dead. The disconnect switch had been left on. We are new Rv’rs, so we didn’t know to check that. We Had to end up replacing the battery, it was an old one installed at dealership leaking fluid and should have never been in a brand new Rv. Finally got to our campsite, less than 20 miles from our house. Stayed overnight then packed to come home. Now the check engine light came on for some reason. We have put less than 100 miles on the rv and already having engine problems. We called dealership and were basically told we cannot help you, you’re pretty much in your own. The customer service after the sale is nonexistent. Be careful buying anything from this dealership. I wish I had done more research and became more Knowledgeable about them. Some shady stuff going on at this place.

  We downsized from our Class A to a Class C, Chris our sales rep is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. General Rv took our old coach as a trade. The process was simple even though we took a pretty big hit on depreciation. We were offered financing and they got us a better rate than we expected. Chuck processed us through the finance and final warranty . He is very professional, friendly, and thorough. The rest of the Staff was friendly and helpful , the facilities are kept clean. They quite an inventory to choose from as well ! Pros DW will now be able to drive the coach if need be. Our new Class C is AWD lifted front and rear and has all the safety features we were looking for. No more worries about adding DEF or going into derate, and no slides. Cons We have much less storage space.
