I rarely take the time to write long reviews, but the exceptional service I received at Mavis Tires & Brakes completely blew me away. Finding an auto shop that combines efficiency, expertise, and genuine honesty is hard to come by these days, but this team nailed it.I originally came in because I noticed a slow leak in my back tire and a strange pulling sensation whenever I hit highway speeds. From the absolute moment I walked through the door, the customer service was top-notch. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, listened attentively to my concerns, and didn’t try to rush me through the check-in process.Instead of immediately trying to upsell me on a brand-new set of expensive tires—which is what I fully expected and have experienced at other shops—the technician took the time to properly inspect everything. They found a tiny nail embedded near the center tread, patched it up flawlessly, and explained that my pulling issue was just a minor alignment problem. What impressed me most was the absolute transparency. They walked me through the pricing beforehand, and there were zero hidden fees or surprise charges when it came time to pay. They even gave me a clear breakdown of how much tread life I have left on my current tires so I can plan and budget for a new set down the road. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and well-lit, making it easy to get some work done on my laptop while I waited. The entire service—patching the tire, doing a full alignment, and checking all my fluid levels—was completed much faster than the initial estimate they gave me.My car drives incredibly smooth now, the alignment is dead-on, and I have total peace of mind on the road. It is so refreshing to deal with mechanics and staff who prioritize customer safety and long-term trust over making a quick buck. I will absolutely be returning to Mavis Tires for all my future maintenance, oil changes, and tire needs. If you are looking for an auto shop that is professional, fair, and fast, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I’m extremely disappointed with how this was handled. When we originally came in for tires, I was very clear that we were on a budget and needed the least expensive option that was still appropriate and safe for the vehicle. The employee went through the available choices with us, and yes, we chose the cheapest option he presented. I take responsibility for choosing the least expensive tire. What I do not accept is being sold a tire that the store’s own service professionals later told me was not the correct tire for this vehicle and could cause handling issues. I am not a tire expert. That is exactly why I went to a tire store and relied on the trained professional behind the counter. If a customer says, “Show me the least expensive tires that will work properly on this vehicle,” every option presented should actually be appropriate for that vehicle. If the cheapest tire was going to negatively affect the vehicle’s handling, the employee should have said, “I would not recommend these for your vehicle,” instead of selling them to us as an acceptable option. What makes this even more frustrating is the response afterward. Rather than taking responsibility for the tires they recommended and sold, the solution was essentially to offer me a discount on another, more expensive set of tires while I absorb the loss on tires we just purchased. I wasn’t asking them to replace tires because I changed my mind or decided I wanted something nicer. I went back because their own service staff told me the tires sold to us were wrong for the vehicle and were affecting how it handled. Customers should be able to rely on the expertise of the professionals selling and installing their tires. Being on a budget should not mean being sold something that the store later admits was not appropriate for the vehicle.

Chris and his team took excellent care of my car. They were able to schedule an alignment same day, they made sure the car needed an alignment before just performing one and taking my money. Despite computer issues and last minute scheduling, they were prompt and courteous. I will bring my vehicles back for future needs.

I recently visited Mavis Tires & Brakes for some overdue maintenance on my vehicle, I'm incredibly impressed with the speed and quality of service. Finding a mechanic shop that's genuine can be tough, but the team here knocked it out of the park. Kudos to them. I originally went in because my car was making an unusual grinding noise when stopping. The staff welcomed me warmly and set me up with a free brake inspection. Instead of just handing me a bill, the staff took the time to explain exactly what was going on. They showed me the wear on my brake pads and rotors, walked me through my options, and provided a clear, upfront quote before doing any work. There were no hidden fees or aggressive upselling tactics—just honest, transparent communication.
