First, it doesn’t take out the heavy oil that sits at the bottom of the oil pan and Second they only take out 4.2 quarts, but I’m paying for five quarts. The old heavy sludge sits at bottom the best way to remove it is to drain it from the oil plug.

- WFWilliam FiguerasJul 27, 20263.0Unfortunately for these guys, I was a manager for Jiffy Lube back in the day. On the receipt, it says that they checked my fluids and my tire pressure. I was in my vehicle the whole time, and I did not observe them doing any such work on my Jeep. I know what it would look like to have the techs going around checking stuff. I even observed the tech on my Jeep have another tech verify the dipstick level by holding the dipstick upright. There is no way to get an accurate reading that way; the dipstick should be held horizontally, especially for verification purposes. I asked the second tech to double-check the reading for me, which he did. They did not ask for a light check or reset my oil life light; I did it myself.
