- RRRolando RamirezAug 17, 20261.0DO NOT BUY THEIR CAR BATTERIES WITH WARRANTY! IT'S A SCAM! I knew the battery was dying. I bought a DieHard battery from this location less than 2 years ago with a 4 year warranty. I went last week when I noticed the car was slow to start and they said they had to test the battery and it had to come back as bad before replacing the battery. Ok, reasonable. They test it and the battery comes back good. I went home and next day the car didn't start. I had to get a jump and went to a mechanic who confirmed the battery was bad. I went back, again their tester said it was good and they refused to replace it. I then went to another mechanic who ran the test again and again confirmed the battery was bad. I went back with the results and they said unless their tester says it's bad they won't replace it. THEIR TESTS ARE FRAUD. They make you start the car and rev it up, WHICH OBVIOUSLY CHARGES THE BATTERY. Every other place I went to tested it with the car off, when you truly see the battery's power. I then went to AutoZone, tested it their and AGAIN BATTERY SHOWED BAD. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Advance Auto Parts again and I will be filing a complaint with th BBB, the Florida Attorney General for consumer protection, the FTC, and your corporate office. You all are FRAUDS.

Checked the price of part that I needed and even provided recommendations to mechanics nearby. Never had a bad experience at this location. Would recommend. 😊

They have everything in stock.. personnel is very friendly, helpful and attentive. They will go out of the way to make sure you found what you looking for.. Great hospitality service I give them five star for friendliness and being helpful. I usually buy oil with filter package and you can get great discount . I also additive for fuel, chemicals, and equipment for car care, windshield fluid, car battery and basically anything you might think of your car would need. You name it they got it.! advanced auto parts is my favorite car care store and one stop shop for your vehicle. They never disappointed me even once.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
