  On May 21, 2026, I visited the Enterprise office on Pine Ridge Rd. in Naples to confirm availability of a 12‑passenger Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter for a multigenerational family trip, including a senior recovering from surgery who needed the higher step‑in height. After discussing my needs, the Management Trainee confirmed the Sprinter was the best option and helped me make the reservation in person two weeks in advance for pickup on June 5. However, on June 5 at 3:40 PM—just 50 minutes before my scheduled 4:30 PM pickup—I was informed that the vehicle had been extended to another customer and would not be available. I was told the only alternative was a different vehicle located over 25 miles away at the Fort Myers Airport, and that I would need to retrieve it myself. Enterprise stated they could not transport the vehicle to the original location and offered no other solution. This last‑minute cancellation caused major disruption to our plans and affected more than 10 people. Given the advance in‑person reservation and the size of Enterprise’s fleet, it is unreasonable that no suitable replacement or internal solution was provided.

  We went to pick up a vehicle as part of an insurance claim for a wreck caused by someone with AllState Insurance. We had no choice but Enterprise. We asked for a GM product as my wife was familiar with the controls on her Cadillac XT5. We were given a Chevy Trailblazer -- smaller than the XT5 but acceptable -- but when the Enterprise employee gave her the Fob, it didn't work well and he had to repeatedly push the buttons to get the door to open. Well, that's the start. Why would they give you a vehicle with a Fob that didn't work correctly. It only got worse, with my wife having to fight with the Fob every time she wanted to lock or unlock the car. So when we called Enterprise to complain, they offered to change the battery. I didn't want to do it in case I damaged the Fob, but their solution required us to make a nearly 1 hour round trip so they could change the battery. Duh? So we asked for a replacement and a GM product at a location closer to us. They were able to oblige with a Buick Envision -- even smaller than the Chevy Trailblazer and not as nice as the Trailblazer -- so I'm embarassed to even give them one star. I guess customer service at Enterprise is not something they emphasize at all.
