  Terrible. Zero customer service. I called a different AutoZone to see if they test 12v batteries in Toyota Prius C. I was told they do test them but they're unable to replace them. I then learned that the battery I would purchase, should my battery need to be replaced, was available at this AZ I'm writing this review for, which was closer to where I was. It was a $300 battery. I called this store and was placed on a very long hold. Finally someone picked up and disconnected the call. I called back and I asked the the young man who answered if they test the 12v battery on my car, telling him year, make and model. The young man immediately said they don't test 12v batteries on cars like mine (it is a hybrid). I was stunned to silence, I responded that is surprising as another AutoZone told me they do test the Prius C. He responded "Well it depends on the details of the car," which I had already given to him. He then responded that they do test these batteries. I then removed all of the skirting around the base of the back seat so they wouldn't have to do it and drove to the store. The first young man to come out told me to "pop the hood". I told him the battery is under the back seat. He seemed lost, and went back inside to get someone else. That young man came out, did not remove the bracket to pull the battery out, but attempted to test it as it remained under the seat then told me it couldn't be tested by them because the CCA number was on the back of the battery (it's actually on the label on top) and he wasn't able to see it (because he refused to remove the bracket to remove it). He and his cohort walked away. I went to Google which advised what the CCA # was on the original battery. By this time the young man was schmoozing an old man, obviously trying to get a tip, after replacing his wiper blades. I told him the CCA # and he told me to go back inside and find someone else to help me. I didn't do this due to health issues and decided to go to the Vanderbilt store. I looked for the corporate customer service number on the way, called it, and the automated service asked for the area I was in then attempted to connect me to a regional or district manager number. The phone service advised the number was either disconnected or no longer in service. My story is longer but I'm not going to continue. I did end up purchasing the $300 battery at a different AZ store (it was one of two available. It was 6 months old. The second one was expired.) My experience there wasn't much better. I've never heard from management, though I did share my experience with a corporate customer service person (who was very nice). I kept thinking throughout the day, "How can this experience be so bad when my last experience with them was so excellent?" At the end of the day I realized my last experience wasn't with AutoZone, it was with Advanced Auto at Radio and Santa Barbara. To corporate customer service: do not respond to this review asking me to contact you, your company has already wasted too much of my time and I've already provided you with feedback and you haven't even followed up.

  Called looking for a part who ever answered the phone the first time said hello and haug up on me called again answered with a nasty attitude and just put me in hold

  TO Andres store manger and Rafael in a lifetime crisis I needed an alternator recently right before a store hours they still treated me with care, professionalism, and appreciation. I truly appreciate their time for them considering my crisis that I’m going THROUGH! They truly do deserve recognition.

  Andres was really helpful helping me make a decision on which battery to buy and also helping me install it which wasn’t easy because the last company, didn’t do as well of a job and made poor Andres have to be out in the hot sun even longer. But with a smile and good conversation, I might add. Thank you!
