Working on a jeep with a different rear differential installed and was looking to find rear brake shoes. Was a very difficult process. Was dealing with David and Doritos, these two gentlemen went way above and beyond to find the correct shoes!!! They did way more than any other parts store would. I called several other competitors and told me they couldn’t do anything with out the part number or exact year. These two are awesome and truly professionals in their trade!!! Thank you

I understand that particularly in this area, you have to have Customer service based on demographics, which is understandable. But when you have someone that barely speaks English compounding, the fact they know nothing about auto parts and they are representative of your company does not leave a good impression. I have been here several times to try to drop off oil, There’s always a hassle because the tanks are always full. I would rather drive 20 minutes out of my way so at least I could talk with somebody that knows what they’re doing.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
