  I came in the a store to buy oil and filter and the employee went and grab a mobile 1 oil and and filter, I left to go do my oil change , I open the bottle the plastic was torn and bottle have old used oil in there , I went back to get the bottle swapped out store supervisor said she’s can’t do anything about that so I’m left to buy another bottle of oil which convenient , that’s unacceptable for business please be careful.

  Normally I don’t do this, but…I visited this location a few nights ago after leaving work post 12 hour shift (guess my profession). My battery had died and I had to get a jump just to make it to this here location. This employee named William made it perfectly clear to me that he was not willing to help me at all. I was pleasant and polite with this guy. He explained to me the policies and procedures of Auto Zone not allowing their employees to remove or replace batteries on the vehicle that I have. They have done it before, but this dude was more than ready to stand by the policies of the company on this particular night! No problem, sir! He kept trying to sell me the battery and told me that whenever I got the old battery out, bring it to him and he’ll give me $20 something dollars! Alright buddy! I’m outside fighting for my life to remove the bad battery to no avail. He kept me up to speed on how long it would be before they closed (..we close in 9 minutes, etc). My family finally arrived (thank goodness, because it was getting weird with the William dude). My brother goes inside and asked another younger man for a tool to help remove the battery so that I could buy the one William was pushing! The young man (didn’t get his name but he was way more concerned and willing to help) offered us a tool to remove the bad battery. Sir William then says to the younger man…”it’s on you if they steal it” 😳 William, really my guy? I know you didn’t get that impression from me! You have no idea what I could’ve bought out of there! That was the most insulting part. Not the fact that dude wasn’t willing to help. The fact that I was racially profiled by a black dude! That was unacceptable and unprofessional on all levels. I went to a competitor and got a replacement battery…totally different experience! Not that it should matter, but these guys were of a different race than me and they were so amazing! William knows that he was wrong for that! I had to share this experience because it emphasized to not judge a book by its cover. The guys at the new place were very sweet ☺️

  LaTanya for the win! I went in the night before to get the battery in my key fobs replaced. An older Indian guy was not helpful at all. After saying he's not allowed to open it, refused to show me how and never offered to at least get me the right battery. I walked out. I went back in the morning when obviously good for nothing ppl would not be there and LaTanya (who I walked right passed the night before) was there again and I got everything I needed w/ ease! 5 mins in & out.

  The gentleman was quick and great customer service. He is an awesome employee definitely deserves a raise.
