I had a slow leak in my tire. I first went to Mavis tires and brakes in their Stony Brook location . they could not take care of me right away to check the leak of my tire because someone was sick that day and didn’t show up to work. They were sweet enough to call their other Mount Dora branch and they agreed to have a look at my car. I believe the gentleman‘s name is Tom. He greeted me and immediately went out to see what was wrong with my car and had one of his gentlemen pulling it into the bay. They took care of that immediately and they didn’t do it the cheap way they took the tire off and patched it from the inside properly. And then to my surprise, they didn’t charge me for the service. I was just blown away and I cannot say enough about Mavis tire and brakes. Thank you !!!

Well, the call center was absolutely terrible. Told me my tires would be in yesterday and set me an appointment. Tires were not in yesterday which caused quite a dilemma because I had a terrible front end wheel hop. Call center could not help me with the deposit or tell me when my tires would be in as of this morning. At that point, I was ready to take my business elsewhere. However, the gentleman at the mt Dora store Called me this morning and let me know that he had received my tires. I decided to go ahead and go back up there to have the tires installed. These guys were very apologetic about the call center and super polite to me. Something else to know is that when the call center quote you a price they just quote the price for the tires. They don’t include the price for the valvestems tire disposal, or mounting and balancing. Which I was not prepared for. Due to the hassle that I had received and the runaround that I got from the call center these guys worked with me on the price that I was quoted. I would not recommend the call center to anyone if you call Mavis tire and do not speak with someone at your local store I would hang up and try again. These guys were awesome and I recommend them.

I buy a tire. And after I buy a tire, I make an appointment for next week, right? When that week arrives, right? I have an appointment. They told me they had it, I go to the appointment, and when I get there they tell me they don't have it anymore. What a waste of time, 20 minute drive to the shop Later, I went to buy the same type of tires just from a different company but I really wanted them all to match. I had no choice but to get a different tire. When I called to order two more, they were going to order the ones I wanted, but I had to put down a $25 deposit. Yet, when I actually made the call, they told me they couldn't order them for that location even though, just five minutes earlier, they had told me to put down the $25 to hold the tires. I don't know what their intentions are in doing this, but it is unethical ...and a waste of time; they need to be more honest with customers. I don't know with what intention they did this. Thanks!
