    Très déçu par l'agence Sixt de Miami. Pratiques commerciales douteuses... Je m'explique. J'arrive à l'agence, le gars me dit que comme je suis en retard il a dû donner ma voiture à un autre client ( je n'étais pas en retard, j'avais réservé la voiture pour 20 h et je suis arrivé à 20h30 dans la file d'attente, le contrat stipule qu'en cas de retard important le véhicule peut être loué à qq d'autres, ont été très loin du retard important). Mais il me dit pas de soucis je regarde ce que j'ai. Il me trouve une voiture qui ne correspond pas à la catégorie que j'avais réservé. J'avais réservé un suv 7 places . Mais il me dit c'est un peu plus cher 85 dollars de plus, après 24 h de voyage j'étais prêt à lui filer ses 85 dollars, jusqu'à ce que je comprennes que c'était 85 dollars par jour ( 85 *13). Je vous passe les détails mais s'en suit tout une période où il s'absente pour aller voir sont boss que son boss est ok pour 50 dollars puis 35 puis 25. Je lui dis ramène moi ton boss. Qui n'est jamais venu. Pour finir après presque 1 heure de palabres par " ok je prends sur moi je vous laisse partir sans supplément" Sans supplément mais aussi sans la voiture que j'avais réservé.... Bref pendant tout ce temps j'observe et essaie de comprendre ce qu'il se passe aux comptoirs proches du mien. Donc 3 autres couples à qui on essaye de la faire à l'envers, un est trop tôt, il doit attendre pendant 1h30 sinon c'est plus cher, un autre pareil le véhicule pas dispo,je n'ai pas compris pourquoi mais ils faut aussi payer une rallonge. Et un 3 ème la même chose que moi , soit disant en retard. Tous des Français. Ce que j'ai déduit de cette situation c'est que les petits jeunes aux comptoir touchent une commission sur les ventes et essaient de soutirer une rallonge aux clients pour toucher leurs com. J'ai plusieurs fois loué aux USA/Canada et je n'avais jamais rencontré ce genre de pratique chez la concurrence. Donc je ne conseille pas Sixt Miami Aeroport.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. This location is completely disorganized and, worse, their staff will outright lie to you, putting you at severe financial risk. I use my Amex card for rental insurance, which strictly covers vehicles up to a specific MSRP limit. When picking up my rental, the agent offered me an upgrade to a Mercedes. I explicitly asked for the exact MSRP of the vehicle to ensure my credit card insurance would still cover it. The representative gave me a number that was within my card coverage. I trusted him, and I drove off. Later, I checked the VIN online and discovered the actual MSRP was significantly higher than what I was told. The agent lied to my face, meaning I was driving around completely uninsured due to their false information. They set me up for massive financial liability just to push an upgrade. To make matters worse, when I finally returned the car, the drop-off attendant looked surprised and asked, "You didn't take a video of the car before leaving? How come?" Absolutely no one at the front desk told me this was required! Thankfully, the car was returned in pristine condition and accepted without issue, but I later read online that Sixt is notorious for slapping customers with hefty fines for every microscopic scratch if they don't have video proof. They intentionally set you up to fail. Unprofessional, completely disorganized, and dangerously deceptive. This was an absolute epic fail.

    I strongly recommend booking with one of the neighboring rental companies instead. Despite having a confirmed and prepaid reservation, we were told our vehicle class was unavailable and that we would need to choose a different car. What they failed to mention at first was that every alternative came with a significant surcharge. Only after we repeatedly asked were the prices finally shown on the screen — ranging from an additional $50 up to more than $500 per day. We were then blamed for booking through a “third party” instead of directly and told that “this happens all the time with third parties” and was therefore our problem. However, this was not a third-party provider at all — it was simply an employer discount link that redirected directly to Sixt’s own booking pages, meaning the booking itself was still fully handled by Sixt. We even showed this to the employee, but he continued to deny responsibility and insisted that we now had to pay extra because they “had no cars” and that it was somehow our own fault for “not booking directly.” Regardless of that, if Sixt offers these employer and discount programs through its own booking system, customers should be able to rely on them working properly. The entire conversation had a very unpleasant atmosphere from the beginning. There was no friendliness at all, and the attitude was extremely condescending, as if the entire situation was somehow our fault. At the same time, we were pressured into paying more for an even smaller car instead of being offered a comparable replacement without extra charge, even though that is what we were entitled to under the contract. We clearly stated that we were completely willing to accept a comparable vehicle at no additional cost, but this was rejected by Sixt. Not once during the entire situation did any employee even apologize for the inconvenience. We were left standing there for over an hour with barely any communication unless we actively approached the staff ourselves. For clarification: we have been using similar employer discount bookings with other rental companies for over five years without ever experiencing a single issue. In fact, another rental company accepted the exact same discount link that same night without any problem at all. To increase the pressure, we were initially told that only a manager could cancel the booking. The cancellation process was made unnecessarily complicated until they realized we would not give in to the pressure and overpriced offer — only then did the cancellation suddenly become possible without any manager at all. Unfortunately, the entire experience ruined our evening and vacation mood, as we ultimately only managed to get a replacement vehicle from the competitor at around 10 PM. Overall, the entire experience felt extremely unprofessional and like an attempt to push customers into overpriced contracts. We went to the rental company next door instead and had a car within two minutes — no pressure, no unnecessary drama. Please draw your own conclusions and make sure to compare the surrounding rental companies before booking. The neighboring provider was cheaper, significantly more professional, and offered far better service. The only thing nicer here was the counter design and the digital display.

    I recently rented a car from SIXT at Miami International Airport, and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. After a long flight, the last thing I wanted was a stressful pickup process, but Alex made everything incredibly smooth, fast, and welcoming. From the moment I arrived at the counter, Alex was professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. He took the time to explain all the rental details clearly, answered every question patiently, and made sure I got the perfect vehicle for my trip. His customer service was outstanding — efficient without feeling rushed, and personable without being over the top. The car itself was spotless, modern, and in excellent condition. Pickup and return were both seamless, and the entire process felt organized and premium. It’s rare to find someone who can turn a routine airport car rental into such a positive experience, but Alex absolutely did that. I travel frequently and have rented from many companies over the years, and this was easily one of the best rental experiences I’ve had. Huge thanks to Alex and the SIXT Miami International Airport team for making everything so easy and stress-free. I’ll definitely be renting with SIXT again on my next trip to Miami.

    Llegue a la agencia y mi reserva estaba tomada por OTRA persona, asi que me ofrecieron hacer una nueva reserva, pero con la condicion de que yo pague denuevo el 100% de la reserva como si fuera nueva y tambien el deposito en garantia, ellos dijeron que el pago que yo realize en despegar NUNCA les llego, por eso me tenian que cobrar todo nuevamente, me dijeron que como la culpa no era mia en ningun aspecto, cuando regresara el vehiculo me devolverian el 100% de todo lo que me estaban cobrando en ese momento, cuestion que no fue asi, cuando regrese el vehiculo me dijeron que no me devolverian nada porque ellos no tenian la culpa de que no les haya impactado el pago por la reserva en DESPEGAR, asi que me cobraron 2 veces y me dieron un solo vehiculo, ademas de esperar 1 hora por todo este problema y que ellos tomaran mi reserva para darle a otra persona, me estafaron un monton de plata entre DESPEGAR y SIXT, NUNCA MAS CONTRATO A NINGUNO DE LOS 2.
