  I was standing for a long time at the counter and the staff didnt even notice me after passing right in front of me. Really bad customer service.

  In English In my entire life I have never experienced an establishment where full grown men do not want to work. I stopped by this Advance Auto Parts to have my check engine light scanned using the diagnostic tool they advertise. After waiting patiently in line, it was finally my turn when the employee at the counter told me he was “going on break.” Instead of leaving, he immediately went to another register and continued helping customers who were checking out, completely ignoring me. Also it’s worth to mention that he rolled his eyes when I asked him for help. What made the experience even more frustrating was seeing two other employees sitting around on their phones while customers were waiting for assistance. There seemed to be no sense of urgency or willingness to help. I understand that employees need breaks, but this felt more like an excuse to avoid providing a service than an actual break. The staff came across as unprofessional, disengaged, rude, incompetent, and uninterested in helping customers. I and other frustrated customers left without getting the scan. I won’t be returning to this location. Management should seriously address the lack of customer service and employee accountability. En español En toda mi vida, nunca había visto un establecimiento donde hombres adultos no quisieran trabajar. Pasé por este Advance Auto Parts para que escanearan la luz de "revisar motor" (check engine) de mi vehículo utilizando la herramienta de diagnóstico que anuncian. Tras esperar pacientemente mi turno, cuando por fin me tocaba ser atendido, el empleado del mostrador me dijo que "se iba a tomar un descanso". En lugar de retirarse, se dirigió inmediatamente a otra caja y siguió atendiendo a clientes que estaban pagando, ignorándome por completo. Cabe mencionar también que puso los ojos en blanco cuando le pedí ayuda. Lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más frustrante fue ver a otros dos empleados sentados y distraídos con sus teléfonos mientras los clientes esperaban atención. No parecía haber ningún sentido de urgencia ni disposición para ayudar. Entiendo que los empleados necesitan descansos, pero esto parecía más una excusa para evitar prestar el servicio que un descanso real. El personal demostró falta de profesionalismo y de interés, además de una actitud grosera e incompetente; no tenían ninguna intención de ayudar a los clientes. Tanto yo como otros clientes frustrados nos fuimos sin conseguir el escaneo. No volveré a este establecimiento. La gerencia debería abordar seriamente la falta de atención al cliente y la falta de responsabilidad de los empleados.
