  I had an absolutely terrible experience with Enterprise, particularly at the Miami Lakes location. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to use this company because the rental was provided under the warranty for a vehicle I purchased while my own car was being repaired. The first rental vehicle they gave me was in extremely poor and unsafe condition. After driving only a few blocks, it began experiencing serious electrical problems. The air conditioning started turning itself up and down, the entire dashboard went completely black, and I could no longer see my speed, GPS, or any information on the screen. This happened almost immediately after leaving the Enterprise location. I somehow managed to get the defective vehicle home and parked it. I informed Enterprise that it was unsafe to drive and that I could not bring it back in that condition. Since they had just given it to me that way, they arranged for a tow truck to pick it up. Later, when I returned the replacement vehicle, I discovered through my bank that Enterprise had charged me $232 without providing any explanation or authorization. When I went to the office to ask about it, the employees could not explain the charge. The only receipt they gave me showed $132, not $232, and they claimed they could not see any additional charge in their system. How can a company withdraw $232 from a customer’s account and then claim that no one knows why? The manager is never available, no one provides answers, and every time I call, I am told that someone will contact me—but no one ever does. I have also gone to the location in person, and they still cannot resolve the issue. The customer service at the Miami Lakes location is unacceptable. Customers should not be held responsible for Enterprise’s failure to properly inspect and maintain its own vehicles. This has been one of the worst customer-service and rental-car experiences I have ever had. I would strongly advise others to avoid the Enterprise Miami Lakes location. I am still waiting for a clear explanation and a refund of the unauthorized and unexplained charge.

  The fleet of cars at this location are not the level of quality that I would expect from Enterprise, but the team provides good customer service. Shout out to Carolyn Best for providing the most seamless experience and always leading with kindness!

  I rented a vehicle from this Enterprise location on August 15, 2026, with a reservation for a Midsize SUV. When I picked up the vehicle, I was given a Chevrolet Trailblazer. I specifically questioned whether this vehicle was in the same category as the Nissan Rogue I had expected, and the employee who assisted me assured me that it was. During the trip, I became concerned that the Trailblazer was actually a smaller vehicle than the category I had reserved. When I returned the vehicle on August 18, I asked about it and learned that the Trailblazer is classified as a Small SUV, not a Midsize SUV. What disappointed me most was not simply receiving a smaller vehicle. It was that I specifically raised the question at pickup and was given incorrect information. Had the employee explained honestly that a Midsize SUV was not available and offered me the Trailblazer as a substitute, I could have made an informed decision. I hope Enterprise reviews what happened and ensures customers receive clear and accurate information about the vehicle category they are being given.

  I waited about 40 minutes just to get a car. When they finally gave me a “car”, the gas level was extremely low, and the vehicle didn’t even show a remaining range, which made it difficult to know how far I could safely drive. The worst part was the strong cigarette smell inside the vehicle. As soon as the A/C was turned on, the smell became even more noticeable. The entire center console and surrounding area had a sticky, dirty feeling that was honestly disgusting. I had my kids with me, and I was very uncomfortable having my family in a vehicle that smelled so strongly of cigarettes. I went inside and explained the situation, including that the car had very little gas and a strong cigarette odor. Instead of offering another solution, I was basically told to go put gas in it myself and that there were no other vehicles available. It felt like a “take it or leave it” attitude, with no concern for the customer experience. There was more: every time I used the turn signal, the blind-spot warning system displayed a message saying it was deactivated or needed service. That was another safety concern. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the long wait, extremely low fuel, strong cigarette odor, dirty/sticky interior, and a safety system showing a service warning, I expected much better from Enterprise. If you are considering renting from this location, I would seriously recommend going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time.

  I had a disappointing experience with this Enterprise location. When I picked up the car, the manager initially told me that I had to return it by 10:40 AM. However, once I reached the parking lot, an employee named Adrian told me that it would not be a problem to return it later. He even wrote "late check-out" on my rental paperwork, giving me confidence that everything had been approved. Unfortunately, when I returned the vehicle, I was informed that I would be charged for the extra time. After a long and embarrassing discussion, they insisted on charging me an additional $20 for approximately one extra hour. The biggest issue was the lack of communication and consistency between employees. I relied on the information provided by Adrian, but that was not honored at the time of return. I expected much better customer service and clearer communication from Enterprise.
