It's refreshing to find a business where the employees take pride in their work and treat customers with respect. I barely made it into the parking lot as my stearing wheel locked up and my dash lit up. Miguel was SO helpful and was such a nice guy, he seriously saved my life. He helped me get a new battery and replaced it for me in the parking lot. Then he contacted me with a personal mechanic that gets his parts through this store. His name was Jason, I called him up and he was in the parking lot within 15 minutes and replaced my alternator for such an amazing price. If it wasn't for Miguel, I would have wasted hundreds on dollars at Pep boys trying to get this all replaced. Thank you to everyone at this store, I will always come to y'all if I have any issues!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
