I expected clear information and something in writing—which used to be standard practice. Instead, the staff was dismissive, did not look me in the eye, and said they could not print out the complete report. They said “ That’s the guys across the street “ They only gave me a single paper with a code ,and a 5 word explanation. zero context or explanation. This only happened after the first guy went out to my car , mumbled a few possibilities, and admitted he did not know what he was doing. Then the “ manager” took over . What a waste of time, obvious disrespect. Advertised Free service shouldn't mean rude service and hidden information. Very unprofessional experience for someone who just needed clear guidance.”

I’ve been on crutches for about a month, and hadn’t turned on my car for that duration (with an alternator replacement coming around the corner so already abusing my battery). The bald gentleman who I may be wrong but pretty sure he was a fellow veteran-was a true professional, and had good human vibes. I will be back to buy my battery from them when I can afford it. He didn’t waste my time with a bunch of nonsense about what someone else thinks I need to do/buy- he simply said yes we do that and gave me an honest time expectation and I went upon my day. Solely based off of our initial interaction, I felt comfortable leaving my only car battery in a stranger’s hands for three hours.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
