Our car broke down in this town, we limped it to Advanced Auto thinking it was just a belt that needed to be replaced. Sadly it was not. It needed a mechanic. This was Saturday afternoon, the clerk at Advanced Auto not only found us a tow truck but also a mechanic on very short notice. The tow truck was here in no time and our car is being towed to a mechanics. They went out if their wab to help us. A-1 service for sure!!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
