- KNKate NegronOct 7, 20265.0This is hands down the best auto parts store in Seminole County! The team is always super friendly, extremely helpful, and genuinely goes above and beyond for their customers. Their warranty on parts is like no other, and what really stands out is that they do what’s right by the customer—something you unfortunately don’t find nearly as much anymore! A special shout-out to Kevin, the manager, who was absolutely amazing! He was professional, helpful, and truly made sure we were taken care of. Customer service like this deserves to be recognized! Highly recommend this location! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

- CNCraig NewellSep 7, 20265.0Thank you to Jadon and Brittany for your excellent help and customer centricity. After I had initially purchased a new battery, and realizing the old one was still under warranty upon removing it, you were able to sort things out for me so I didn’t end up paying for something I didn’t need to. Because of your excellent customer service and patience during the process, I will return to this location for any future needs. Thank you.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
