- GOGenishmir OrtizMay 29, 20261.0I had a very disappointing experience at this RaceTrac. I was shopping alone and had my hands completely full carrying a case of Michelob, a soda, candy for my daughters, my wallet, and my phone. Because I couldn’t hold everything, I temporarily put a few items in my pocket while I continued shopping. When I got to the register, I specifically told the cashier that I had items in my pocket and that I would be paying for them separately with a different card. The cashier acknowledged it and told me it was fine. Out of nowhere, another employee approached me and accused me of stealing before I had even finished my transactions. It was embarrassing, insulting, and completely unprofessional. I was being honest from the start and had already informed the cashier about the items. Customers should not be publicly accused of theft without first checking the facts. I left feeling disrespected and humiliated. Management should do a better job training employees on how to handle situations like this before making accusations.
