  100/10 RECOMMEND. I cracked my windshield and was freaking out because I've never done that before & I assumed it was going to be expensive. In my head, it was going to be about $1k because it's a big glass- it had to be replaced and NOT repaired. I was immediately taken care of when I called their online contact center. An appointment was made at my local Safelite (Leesburg location). Their communication throughout this whole process was top tier. I originally had an appointment for the very next day; but because they didn't have the part- was rescheduled for Monday. When I got to the Leesburg facility, everyone was so nice- especially the front desk employee! The facility was very clean- they provide snacks, water/coffee, TV, and WiFi to the customers who will be waiting in the facility. This team was fast, efficient, and took good care of my vehicle. If you opt in to text updates, they update you at every stage your car goes (I'm a curious georgina so that was nice). I'm not a professional nor do I have knowledge of this field of work. But I would say my assumptions were right- my bill was around $1k. With having a 2020 Hyundai Tucson, it needed calibration to make sure all the safety features worked with the new windshield. They have a licensed technician that does that. Insurance covered everything but the new wipers. Other than that, my experience was great!! I hope I never crack my windshield ever again. But if I ever do, this team is who I will be going to! & also, their theme song got stuck in my head. 🎶 Safelite repair, Safelite replace 🎶

  Very easy process from start to finish. My windshield was replaced in my garage. Appointment was quick and easy online and the technician arrived on time and worked efficiently. A great experience!

  I got a quote from calling the 800 number. After I arrived for my appointment and the tech looked at the job the cost lowered by over 1/2. Granted one of the chips they couldn’t fix they definitely could have taken advantage of me and they didn’t.

  Service was great and wait time was not bad..The only thing is that my wipers were put on incorrectly (wrong side) and there seems to be a gap on the right side of my windshield. I do not feel like driving back to Leesburg to have it taken care of.

  I had a very disappointing in-person experience at this location. I arrived with an approved insurance claim, but the staff immediately limited the service to a repair without offering a clear explanation or alternatives. When I expressed that I preferred a full windshield replacement, I was not properly assisted or guided. At around 2:00 PM, I informed them that I would call my insurance company to clarify my options. However, by 2:11 PM — while I was still on-site — my 3:00 PM appointment was canceled without any notice or communication. I had to go back inside to ask why my appointment had been canceled, even though my issue had not been resolved. This felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. What was most concerning is that no one offered to contact the insurance company on my behalf. In many other repair shops, staff will actively assist customers by calling the insurance company to help resolve any concerns. Here, that basic level of customer service was completely missing. I had to step outside and call customer service myself. Within minutes, they contacted the insurance company and got the replacement approved. This clearly shows that the situation could have been resolved quickly if the staff had been willing to help. Customers are not coming in asking for favors or handouts. We are bringing approved insurance work that guarantees payment. The least that should be expected is professional assistance, clear communication, and a willingness to help. While the phone customer service was excellent, the in-person service at this location was poor — dismissive, unhelpful, and lacking professionalism. I strongly recommend that customers read reviews carefully before choosing a location. Do not rely only on 4- or 5-star reviews — take the time to read lower-rated reviews, as they often reflect the real issues and service gaps you may experience. I hope this location improves its communication, professionalism, and responsibility toward customers.
