  Always come here for oil changes. Always have a great experience. Guys in here are awesome. I came today for a tire plug, been having issues and i had my tire to be plugged just to find I didnt need a plug in my extra tire I had, but they helped me out and was no charge 😭 they put my tire on, fixed I believe the air thingy? & put the spare back in its place. I am super grateful for this place! They always help you out any way they can! Always trust Mavis.

  I can’t say enough good things about Mavis! ❤️ I came in needing help with my AC and explained my situation as a single mom with two little girls. Living in Florida, having working AC isn’t a luxury — it’s an absolute necessity, especially with little ones. They were incredibly understanding and gave me an amazing deal that truly helped me when I needed it most. What could have been a very stressful situation turned into such a positive experience because they took the time to listen and work with me. I’m so grateful for their kindness, understanding, and willingness to help. It means more than they probably realize. Thank you, Mavis, for treating me with compassion and helping take a huge weight off my shoulders! I highly recommend them!

  Came in after a 10 hour day of work just asking the cost to install License plate lights because my husband and I got stopped by the police two nights in a row because we hadn’t had a chance to fix them . They literally installed them at no charge!! I was expecting some sort of fee! Will definitely be back when we need tires or anything else! Thank you!

  Don’t bring your vehicle here unless you like poor communication and like waiting. I had a terrible experience here the first time I brought my vehicle here but that was when they first opened so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt especially since they had a solid rating now. I called the day prior to set up an appointment for an oil change and a diagnostic on my alternator for 9:00 AM as it was a work vehicle and I needed it back asap. I could immediately tell they didn’t have me in the system which should have been a red flag but they got me in and I asked if I could expect the vehicle before 11-12. The gentleman said 11 was going to be tough but 12 should be doable. I waited till 1:30 cause I know things pop up and I was told they were still working on the vehicle. 4:00 comes and still haven’t heard anything so I call and I’m told the gentleman who was doing my oil change had a family emergency and had to leave. I understand emergencies happen and even if that were true why is it 7 hours later I’m just now finding this out and no one else could have worked on it or hey how about a phone call? Instead of making me feel like I gotta hound and call to find out what’s going on with my vehicle . I could have taken my truck somewhere else it wouldn’t have been a big issue. I wasted a full day of work and now will have to waste another day to go bring my truck somewhere for the alternator cause it’s something they couldn’t work on it. Wasted 7 hours of my time.

  We needed a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) replacement for our vehicle. That’s basically the valve stem which monitors the tire pressure for that tire. There is one for each tire. If a sensor is not functioning there is a warning light displayed on the dash. The warning displayed that only 1 of the 4, TPMS’ was not functioning properly. So, I called Mavis. I was told that they could replace it with no problem and that they were not busy now. I drove over, walked into the store and saw that they were indeed busy. So, I talked with a very nice gentleman at the desk (they do not wear name tags). I told him what I thought I needed and made an appointment for 0930 the next day. I arrived at 0920 and checked in. At approximately 11:10 I was called to the desk. A gentleman explained what was wrong, he explained the replacement process. I was good with it and asked what the price was. It was at this time the gentleman tried the upsell of replacing all 4 sensors. DISCLAIMER: I understand upselling, I don’t disagree with it, I don’t have a problem with it. I appreciate being updated on possible problems and/or inconveniences. I was told that I could buy 3 sensors and get one free and was told the price. I was not interested in replacing all 4 sensors, just the one. The gentleman tried his hardest to convince me that it was in my best interest to have all 4 replaced. I said I understood the reasoning however I was not interested. I asked if just the one sensor be replaced. The gentleman declined my request and stated that they would not replace just one sensor, they had to replace them all because they did not want to get into something that they might have to repair later. Of course, this makes no sense at all because each tire is handled independently of the others. I made it clear that what they were asking me to do was to replace functioning parts, that they were basically requiring me to pay for repairs that were not necessary, for repairs that I did not need. To be clear, the repairs were not needed for my safety. Further, by only replacing one sensor Mavis was not exposing themselves to any liability. IMO there were no legitimate reasons to replace all 4 sensors, at least not given to me by the gentleman. I asked if it was the policy of that location to require all sensors to be replaced. The gentleman told me that it was. Because he told me this, I did not feel the need to speak to a manager as it was their policy. Use caution and wear high boots when dealing with Mavis Tire and Brakes in Lecanto. I did take my business to Express Oil Change just across the street and the folks were great. Replaced only one sensor while I waited.
