Had a reservation for 4 months. Called the day before to ask if the car could be picked up a little earlier and was told it wasn’t available. They then said I could get another car but at a higher rate. I called customer service, who couldn’t/wouldn’t get involved. Bait and switch. Bottom line is why take a reservation and not honor it. I ended up at budget and it was painless for a few dollars more. Don’t bother with the generic, “please contact our customer service”. You want to make it right compensate me for my time on the phone with customer service and the difference in price to rent with a competitor.
I want to acknowledge the Team at the Lauderdale Lakes Branch for going above and beyond for me yesterday. """""Danny""""", Andres, and Jay(len) OMG you guys exceeded my expectations and when I tell you exceeded.. EXCEEDED!!!! I've been renting cars for years now and what you guys did for ME was like no other. You guys need to be recognized. It was busy as usual but it's a business I get it, you all kept it professional and very proactive throughout the process. You all made my day and I'll never forget that. Thannnnk you I'll be back soon I promise.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this location, and especially with the behavior of the manager.
First, I was given a car that had a very strong smell of marijuana inside. I could not drive the car and had to return it after only 20 miles. As a result, I was forced to wait another two hours while they prepared a different vehicle.
When we were finally leaving with the replacement car, the manager personally told us that, because of the long wait and the problems we experienced, we could return the car two hours later than originally scheduled.
However, when I returned the car, I was charged an additional fee for those two hours. I called the location to clarify the situation, and instead of helping resolve the issue, the manager was extremely rude to me and simply hung up the phone.
I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. The manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable, especially considering that he was the person who personally told us we could return the vehicle two hours later.
I absolutely do not recommend this location. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise customers to avoid this location, particularly if they expect professional and respectful management.
I've rented from this Enterprise location several times because it's only about five minutes from my house. I rented here on May 30 and again on June 19, and both times I received a confirmation call beforehand from a regular 954 phone number. This most recent time, I never received a confirmation call.
When I arrived, I noticed the parking lot was practically empty. The employee helping me said they had called, but I didn't answer. I explained that I never received a call unless it may have come through as "Scam Likely" or "Potential Spam." He told me that sometimes their calls do show up that way. Even if I missed the call, I never canceled my reservation, so I expected the vehicle I reserved—or something comparable—to still be available.
I specifically reserved a Dodge Durango or a similar SUV. Instead, I was told the only non-sedan available was a Chrysler minivan. That wasn't what I reserved or what I wanted. I even asked if another nearby Enterprise location might have an SUV available, but instead of trying to help, I was told he doubted it because there were no vehicles available company-wide and that I would have to check other locations myself.
I also asked if rebooking for the next day would help, and again the response was simply that he couldn't guarantee anything. I understand that inventory changes and availability isn't always within an employee's control. My frustration wasn't that they didn't have the SUV—it was that I never felt like he made any effort to help me find a solution or provide good customer service.
To make matters worse, when I declined the additional protection coverage, he responded by saying it was "only for three days" and that I should be able to afford it. I found that comment unnecessary and unprofessional. Whether I choose to purchase optional coverage is my decision, and I shouldn't feel pressured or judged for declining it.
Ironically, every time I've visited this location, this same employee has had a similar attitude. The only reason I've continued coming back is because there's one female employee there who is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name, but I believe she's the only woman working at this location. She completely changes the experience and is the reason I kept giving this location another chance.
At this point, convenience alone isn't enough. If I'm spending my hard-earned money, I expect to be treated with respect and to receive customer service that reflects the Enterprise brand. Unless something changes, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I might even go back to Avis or Budget since my job offers a discount with Avis anyway. 🤷🏾♀️

Dear Enterprise Corporate Support,
I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding a highly unprofessional and unacceptable experience at one of your locations, specifically concerning the behavior of a manager representative, Jervis Hamilton. As a loyal Enterprise customer who even purchased my first vehicle from your company, I am appalled by the treatment I received.
My insurance claim reservation, valued at $1,154, was problematic from start to finish due to Jervis's poor leadership, condescending tone, and complete lack of professionalism. He is very arrogant, argumentative and disrespectful.
The issues I experienced included:
- Dismissive Service & Dirty Vehicle: Upon arrival, my vehicle requests were dismissed by Jervis. I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes, only to be given a dirty, moldy-smelling car. Promises by staff to swap the vehicle for a clean one which was never followed up on, despite my multiple calls and visit.
- Unauthorized Billing: My card was charged $192 without prior notification or the required communication with my insurance company to verify a reservation extension. When I returned to the facility to address this, Jervis actively avoided me, leaving a junior employee to handle the situation and apologize on his behalf.
- Abusive Communication: On August 1, 2026, I called to inquire about extending the rental at the discounted rate mentioned in my return email. Jervis took over the call with an aggressive, argumentative tone. When I requested the contact information for an area or general manager, he hung up on me. When I called back, he intentionally placed me on a long hold and hung up on me a second time after stating he chose to disconnect the call. Like he already knows nothing will come from this matter, but I will continue to reach out until this matter is addressed appropriately. This is totally unacceptable behavior as a customer to deal with this type of behavior.
And as a leader myself, I know that a manager sets the tone for customer service. Jervis Hamilton is a poor representation of your brand. A junior employee's offer to compensate me with a free tank of gas does not resolve the financial inconvenience or the disrespect I endured.
I request that this matter be escalated to a regional, general, or area manager immediately. I expect a formal follow-up regarding how this situation will be addressed.
Sincerely,
Racquel Andre
