The young man and weoman at the counter for pickup and drop off was understanding, helpfull, knowledgeable. The young weoman i spoke to on the phone was great. I talk to all kinds of different people and besides understanding, knowledgeable, and all that, she has the kindest, calmest voice on the phone. With these three and the people outside and out of sight I give them a 100% grade. Location is 6700 Ulmerton road in Largo, Fla.
I had a very poor experience here about a year ago. The first car I received had a flat tire and they didn't catch it before giving me the car. The next car had apparently been damaged by someone and fixed, but it was never notated when they gave me the car, so at first the employee was acting like he had to charge me an exorbitant amount. Eventually he determined that it was repaired well enough that they didn't need to charge me (hence 2 stars instead of 1), but this experience has turned me off from EVER renting another car, ESPECIALLY from this location and company. It's been some time, so maybe they've improved, but I still think about that nightmare of a situation even today.
We reserved a van in advance for a trip we were getting ready to take. When it came time to pick it up I went in and the whole experience was fast and easy. I will definitely do business with them in the future.
I was very pleased and impressed with the service I received in Largo,Florida at theEnterprise there. I did have to wait for a little while to get the car, probably about 45 minutes, but I really appreciated it when the manager came out and said, “we really respect your time and we’re working as quickly as we can. Thank you for being patient.“ I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone come out and specifically say that we respect your time, so I was impressed. The car was great. The return was easy. I definitely will be back again, and I will definitely recommend you to anyone.
I rented a car for 1 day. When I went to pick up the car they wanted everything but my kidney for a 1 day local rental. They “put a $300 HOLD” on my card for a $49 rental that I was told would be an immediate release at drop off. Not only was I told this at pick up but I was told the same thing when I dropped the car back off early the next day. Come to find out they didn’t put a hold on my card they actually charged it $300 and then did not release it. I called them to release it and they say they did but it can take 2-5 days and then blame the bank. I call my bank and they said whether charged… refund or a hold release it would be immediately returned to my account on the banks end once initiated from the vendor. Ultimately my bank is not showing a refund and this rental agency has done nothing to refund the money “immediately” as they said they had. With the economy the way it is this creates an undue hardship on the customer and is communicated intentionally poorly by the staff. Had I known this was going to be an issue I would have taken my business elsewhere. Once the service has been completed and you are paid and satisfied the money you took should be returned. Period. I didn’t wait to return your car so why as a customer am I waiting for you to return my money? Deceptive and bad practice in my opinion.
