  Mavis was so helpful when I came in with problems. David was so upfront and honest about everything that needed to be done and what needed to be prioritized. Didn’t try to upsell me on stuff other places said I needed done. So thankful I came here. 100% recommend!!

  Broke my terrain system by putting in a smaller Rack and Pinion than what was supposed to go in.long story short told me I was SOL and sent me to ford where they told me it was the wrong size and it would cost double what I paid Mavis to fix. Mavis didn’t offer a refund or giving me money back for cause more problems to my car after they said the repair was “highly recommended”. Be warned about using for anything other than a tire change or oil change.

  I have had numerous great experiences at this Mavis Tires location. Where they really proved themselves to me was during my most recent visit. There was an issue when I originally called to make an appointment. Unbeknownst to me, I was speaking with a third-party call center, and there were several major communication issues. (This was in no way the fault of the actual Land O' Lakes shop.) Honestly, I feel bad for the shop because I imagine the miscommunication from the call center makes things difficult for them. The call center messed up my appointment time and a few other details. By the time I arrived, I was understandably very stressed about the situation. I would like to give special praise to Peter at the front desk! You could tell he genuinely cared and had compassion for what I was dealing with, even though none of it was his fault. He truly wanted to help, even though it put him in a difficult position because they were very busy that day. He went above and beyond to make everything right and lifted my spirits with his cheerful attitude. He is just an all around great person and an asset to this company! I walked in feeling stressed, but I walked out happy, laughing, and completely satisfied! I will say that I've been leery of other auto repair shops in the past because they sometimes felt sketchy, or like I was being taken advantage of. But here at Mavis, I have complete trust in their professionalism, honesty, ethics, and efficiency. And I can't forget to mention that their tire prices are unbeatable. Everyone on the team is great to work with and consistently does an excellent job. They are the people I feel safe calling whenever something is going on with my car because I know I'm in good hands. Don't let my call center story deter you. Just make sure, when you call, that you're speaking directly with the Land O' Lakes shop—or ask the call center to connect you directly to the store—so communication stays clear. Thank you, Peter, and the entire crew at the Land O' Lakes Mavis!

  I’m very disappointed with the way this shop handled my nephew's situation. My 16-year-old nephew rushed to get his tire fixed on his own instead of listening to his family, who had advised him to do otherwise but you know how 16-year-olds are, and he wanted to make his parents proud that he handled the situation on his own. He came in expecting to have a nail removed from his tire and thought it would be a simple repair. Instead, he was told he needed to replace the entire tire. Rather than repairing the tire with a plug, they replaced it with a much cheaper tire and charged him $200. Based on the damage, the tire did not appear to require a full replacement. It’s extremely disappointing that they would take advantage of a young customer who may not have known to question their recommendation. I would encourage others to get a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs here.

  I had an extremely frustrating experience with Mavis Tires in Land O’ Lakes. I came in with a simple nail in my tire that was clearly repairable and not located in the sidewall. Instead of patching the tire or honestly explaining why they couldn’t, they immediately tried to sell me four new tires. What made the situation even worse was that they started looking under my hood and pulling out filters and inspecting parts of my engine when I only asked them to repair a tire. I repeatedly questioned why they were touching anything under the hood when my visit had nothing to do with engine work. They then claimed I needed four new tires because of the age of my tires, despite the fact that the tires are practically brand new and had plenty of life left in them. It felt like they were looking for reasons to upsell me rather than provide the service I requested. I ended up taking my vehicle to another tire shop, and they repaired the tire in about 15 minutes with absolutely no issues. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. If you need a simple tire repair, be prepared for unnecessary sales pitches and recommendations that may not reflect the actual condition of your vehicle.
