  We had some repair work, but then we had a major down pour of rain and found a leak. The place where repair work was done, their windowshield guy said that was not his work! The repair shop was in fear of our windshield being broken in trying to fix the Leak. We called our Insurance Company and they got Safelite on it. Safelite was so AWESOME from start to finish. Our serviceman Zack, was very knowlegable, professional, yet treated us very personable and friendly. He did a great job! We had been waiting on repair people who were scared to do anything in case the windshield broke. Safelite sends Zack, and BAM, he is the Man! How much did this cost? $00. Covered by our insurance.   Safelite quickly responded to my claim due to a golfball and scheduled for replacement. Thankfully Joe called to verify the window needing replacement before arriving. This particular window had to be ordered. When the window arrived earlier than expected Safelite called and scheduled me the next day. Joe kept in contact and arrived on time. He worked in the hot sun and got the new window in, vacuumed the glass from the car and driveway. Excellent company and excellent technician. Thank you!!

  I was very disappointed with my experience with Safelite. First, it is impossible to speak with an actual person by phone. For a company providing a service where problems sometimes need to be addressed after the installation, customers should have a reasonable way to reach a human being. The quality of the work also left a lot to be desired. After my windshield replacement, the debris and mess from the installation were not properly vacuumed up, and my windshield wiper arms were reinstalled incorrectly and had to be adjusted afterward. These are basic details I would expect a professional windshield replacement company to get right. What concerned me even more was something I witnessed while I was there. A woman returned because a windshield Safelite had installed the previous day had developed a crack. I watched an employee tell her that the crack was caused by an impact rather than the installation. From what I could see and hear, I found that explanation very questionable. Watching how her concern was handled seriously undermined my confidence that Safelite would stand behind its work if I had a similar problem. Between the difficulty reaching a human being, the lack of attention to detail on my own vehicle, and what I witnessed with another customer’s warranty concern, I would not choose Safelite again.

  MOST HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! SAFE LIGHT OUGHT TO SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN AND OVERHAUL IT ENTIRELY. RUDE, DISMISSIVE, LIARS. Had an appointment scheduled in the morning. No call, no show. Never again. I run a plumbing business and don't have time for this nonsense! Update: they called me 2 minutes after posting this and made a terrible attempt at lying and blaming my employees for not being there. My employee who.has been contacting me ALL DAY asking when they will be showing up. Calling since 0700 this morning. My appointment was between 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM At 2:30 in the afternoon, I finally decided to reach out to them. Tried for an hour. It's an automated AI system that hangs up on you at the end. You cannot get ahold of anyone.

  I pulled into my driveway after a long day, ready to unwind. As I stepped out of the car, something felt off. I walked around to the front and froze. The VIN plate on my vehicle was completely destroyed—gouged, scratched beyond recognition, like someone had taken a tool to it on purpose. My heart sank. That number is basically the car’s identity, and now it was gone. I hadn’t noticed anything at the store earlier. No warning, no apology, not even a casual “Hey, something happened while we were working on your car.” They just handed me the keys and smiled like everything was fine. I only found out once I got home. The anger hit me hard—not just because of the damage, but because they couldn’t be bothered to say a single word about it. I had no choice but to go back the next day. When I walked in and pointed out what they’d done, the staff finally admitted it. No excuses strong enough to cover it up this time. Just a quiet acknowledgment that yes, it was their fault. The whole trip back felt like a waste of time and gas that never should have been necessary. What should have been a simple errand turned into frustration, extra miles, and a reminder that some places still don’t understand basic responsibility.
