The first time I made contact with Bill Adkins, the Sprinter Advisor at Field's Motorcars in Lakeland FL I had several questions. I found out how far out is best to make a service appointment and, had questions about certain features and "quirks" of the Sprinter. I even called him while traveling alone and had a DEF guage question. He was VERY helpful, nice, professional and when I explained I was on a solo 2500+ mile trip, he assured me I could reach out anytime and he would help in any way possible including locating service near my route if necessary. I had my first service on my 2026 Coachmen Galleria motorhome / 2024 Sprinter 3500XD AWD ext 170 on March 30, 2026. It was not yet due (had less than 5000 miles) but I was preparing for a longer trip this year and wanted my "1st 1yr/20,000 mile service" done. Bill communicates extremely well, is very thorough, personable and efficient. He also let me know I would be receiving a video inspection with audio from the technician and I found it very helpful. I had asked for a demonstration on spare tire removal which he performed and explained on the video. OUTSTANDING SERVICE and well worth the 1 hour 20 minute drive from just south of Brooksville FL. I chose them due to a facebook post on Mercedes & Sprinter Tech page where someone else recommended them.

I have owned 8 Mercedes over the past 30 years and now have a 2014 C250 with 80,000 miles. I was planning on selling it a few months ago so I brought it to Fields to check a few things that had issues. My name is Lawrene Coleman so I am sure they can look up my visit. I should thank them for the shuttle service to and from Sebring, Florida. I was however very disappointed at the service I received. There were black dirty shoe marks on the driver door sill and tan carpet near the gas pedal. I asked to have the windshield washer to be checked. Was advised it needed a new pump. I asked the have the backup camera checked. Was told they could not work on it because it was an aftermarket camera? I am the third owner and it shows as having a camera when first sold in 2014? I asked to check for oil leaks and was told they were numerous and very expensive to repair? I asked that the heater be checked and was told I needed a new water pump? I declined the service as it was too expensive. I paid the service check fee of $550.00. The estimated cost of repairs was about half the value of the vehicle! I don't drive the car often so it sat for a while in my garage. I just took it to a local repair shop that I have used in the before, they specilize in German made cars. They replaced the windshiel wiper motor, replaced a defective coolant line that services the heater, all for $904.00. I will not be going back to Fields Mercedes to purchase a vehicle or to get one serviced! Very disappointed.

Our vehicle had to be towed in on Thursday April 16th 2026 due to a no start issue around noon that same day. My wife was informed by the service department the vehicle could possibly be brought into the shop that day same day to start diagnosis/work. Unfortunately, it wasn't until the following Monday April 20th when the initial diagnosis was made and we did not get the vehicle back until Thursday April 24th. The vehicle was repaired and all parts were in stock. The main issue was a starter but two O2 sensors were replaced as well as an oil and filter change service. The repair job was great..but we were rather disappointed about how long the repair took especially given the fact the parts were available. Additionally, the vehicle was not touched for approximately 2.5 days prior to the initial diagnosis. I was also surprised for the length of the service and price point of the repair we were not offerd a loaner vehicle. Again we were satisfied with the repair but the overall experience did not live up to the standard we are use too.
