  I reserved a ford f150 or equivalent in Lakeland Florida. Upon our arrival we were told there were no trucks and they had a Nissan rogue for us. The employee seemed like he didnt care got the impression it was take it or leave it. Mt wife on her own called the store in Melbourne florida and was able to reserve a truck there, we then drove 90 minutes to Melbourne florida where we met with another employee who first told me I did not have a reservation., Then he said it was at the Airport. I informed him Lakeland airport does not have an enterprise. He then informed me he didnt have any trucks available. He asked to walk away for a minute, at which time he returned and said they have one truck but it's dirty. We took the truck the truck was on Empty, and he informed us we did not have to return it with gas. We took the truck cause it was needed to move my son out of college. When we returned the truck I met with a very nice young woman who said she apologized for everything and that she was reduce the price by 50.00. to which I thanked her and appreciated it. However when I returned home I noticed the 50.00 was never subtracted from the account. So needless to say not happy at all with my experience. The First Gentleman in Lakeland was helpful offered to reduce price by 30 dollars which I thought was nice. the Second Gentleman was not helpful at all did not seem like he wanted to be there and was not very helpful . The young lady at drop off was very nice and seemed really concerned with our experience, she made a generous offer to reduce it by 50.00 which we have not seen yet. but was sorry for our bad experience.

  I pre-arranged with the reservation number to get a hybrid car and they stated they would get me a Camry Hybrid or a Accord Hybrid. I even called the local location to make sure they had that information and they said they would try but couldn't guarantee anything. When I got there they said all we have is a Hyundai Tucson or pickup trucks. I took the Hyundai and was immediately told the tank is dead empty so bring it back that way. The car had damage all around it. So to add insult to injury I had to take it to a gas station and fill it up. While there I popped the hood to check the oil and coolant and it was a quart and a half low on coolant. The next day it rained I used the wipers they wouldn't clean the windshield I tried using the washers and they didn't work front or rear. I could hear the pump running but it wouldn't dispense washer fluid, almost had a wreck. I went to make a trip with the car and you couldn't go over 55 because the rear end would shake like crazy. The car smelled. I brought the car back after 10 days and called the manager and he said oh the old manager he's gone and I don't know what he told you what can I do to make you happy. I asked him what can you do , my Insurance picked up the rental car cost. He had no answer whatsoever. I have rented cars from Enterprise for over 30 years and have never had an experience like this.

  I have not had to pay a deposit until I rented from my home State, Florida. I have been a loyal customer for years. The deposit seemed unnecessary, unreasonable and punitive.

  I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise at 4510 South Florida Avenue Lakeland, Fl. My insurance company made a reservation for me after my car accident, and my coverage includes a rental up to $30 per day. When I arrived, they did not have the vehicle available within that price range. The manager told me he would call me the next day (March 5) to switch me into the correct vehicle once one became available. Unfortunately, I never received that call. Today I called the location myself and was told they still do not have a vehicle available. After already dealing with the stress of a car accident, this lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating. I understand inventory can be limited, but communication and keeping your word are very important, especially for customers who are already dealing with a difficult situation.
