- TYT Y4 days ago1.0Paid $5500 to get a new transmission. Took forever and a day to get the car back to begin with. Had problems with the transmission right after getting it back. Took it back and they said it was fine and that the new transmission had to get used to the way the driver drove. Now a year later, the car broke down. The new shop said there was no transmission mount set or it was set incorrectly and the new transmission is now trash. $6000 to get a new one plus labor. This is a nightmare 😫
