  Booked way in advance for the night time kayak , couldn’t wait stayed an extra day in KW just for it .. at the last minute our tour was canceled because someone called in sick ! This company could not accommodate us at another time , didn’t have a back up plan and just said sorry . This is how not to run a business in Key West !!!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re on the fence about booking the Eco Tour with CraigCat Boats & Tours, just do it. It ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Key West. My 12-year-old son and I had Daniel as our guide, and he was fantastic. From the moment we met him, he was personable, cool, and immediately made us feel comfortable. What really stood out was that he didn’t just recite a scripted tour. He took the time to get to know us and customized the experience around my son’s interests. He shared history about the Naval Base, the submarine pits, and the surrounding waters. It felt like we were exploring with a knowledgeable local rather than following a standard tourist excursion. I also have to mention the CraigCats themselves. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Looking at photos beforehand, I wondered if they might feel a little gimmicky. I couldn’t have been more wrong. They are incredibly comfortable, surprisingly easy to drive, and so much fun. We had a very windy day with some pretty choppy water, yet I never once felt unsafe or worried about tipping over. They handled the conditions beautifully and gave us the perfect way to explore areas you simply can’t experience from shore. This tour struck the perfect balance of adventure, sightseeing, local history, and wildlife. It gave my son and me memories we’ll be talking about for years. A huge thank you to Daniel for making the experience so personal and memorable. We would book this again in a heartbeat!

  Our guide Daniel was an amazing tour guide that made sure we got to enjoy exploring the Key West area while keeping a watchful eye so that we never felt lost. It was our first time on a mini catamaran and it was so fun. We learned so much about all the places we passed through. We were impressed with how much interesting trivia Daniel knew. We would absolutely recommend this experience.

  If I could have given this place 0 starts I would have! We booked a boat tour a few weeks in advance based on all the positive reviews, but when we showed up that morning, no one was there. When it was time to go, there still wasn’t a single person on site. After several attempts, we finally got through to someone on the phone. They told us that our tour was cancelled due to weather - even though it was sunny, 90 degrees, and minimal wind in sight. We were never notified via email or call. So after we declined the option to rebook, we were told we’d get a refund within 1-2 business days. We are still waiting on that. Avoid this place!!!! *please enjoy the picture of ZERO employees in sight for our 11:30am boat tour

  Amazing time! We were on a last hurrah family vacation before our oldest goes off to college and wanted to stack our days full of adventures...and this one paid off! Our teenaged sons shared one catamaran, where they both had a chance to drive, while my husband and I had another. We were with two other couples on our trip. While we couldn't really talk amongst ourselves, we did have to keep a distance, we could see each other and point out cool things we were seeing, we saw a school of dolphins jumping nothing other than that for wildlife. Didn't get to do the sandbar due to all the sargassum in the water, but I would go back once it's cleared up. It was also just nice to enjoy the peace and quite of a 'boat' ride on the water. Our guide John was funny, helpful and full of Key West knowledge. Definitely worth the money!
