I pulled into here to get my oil changed. After briefly speaking with the advisor, the technician notified him that my oil looked relatively new. Sure enough, I checked my paperwork in the glovebox and had it done just 2k miles ago. They advised me to NOT get my oil changed and wait!! This built immediate trust in my mind and I will 100% use this location for my service needs. I've been in the automotive industry for nearly 20 years and this is very refreshing to see when most places will just take your money!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I was nervous to drive into the hole under shop where they reach the oil but the manager and Brandon were very helpful and offered to do it for me but I wanted to do it myself.
They were kind and told me the price before moving forward.
They checked my lights all of them, front and back. They put air in my tires they check the filters and wipers and I didnt need any of that changed but it was nice to be checked.
It was a clean shop too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service at Valvoline Instant Oil Change – Beach Blvd, Jacksonville
I had a great experience today at Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Beach Blvd in Jacksonville. The team was professional, friendly, and efficient from the moment I arrived.
The technicians explained everything clearly, checked my vehicle thoroughly, and completed my oil change and air filter replacement quickly without any pressure to purchase unnecessary services. I appreciated how they reviewed the maintenance checks with me and made sure my vehicle was ready to go before I left.
Special thanks to the service team for their courtesy and attention to detail. It’s refreshing to find a place where customer service is still a priority. The process was fast, transparent, and convenient—I never even had to leave my vehicle.
I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for honest, professional, and efficient vehicle maintenance. I’ll definitely be returning for future service.
Thank you, Emmett, Zion, Angel, and the entire Valvoline team for a job well done!

NEVER, and I mean NEVER, let the Valvoline on Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, FL touch your vehicle.
I stopped in for what should have been a routine oil change. During the visit, I was told my vehicle needed a coolant flush. At the time, my car had absolutely no cooling system issues, no warning lights, no overheating, and no check engine light.
They pulled my car out of the service bay and began the coolant flush. While watching the process, it was obvious the employee performing the service was unsure of what he was doing. Another employee had to come over and correct the machine settings before they continued.
As they were forcing a component of the machine into my vehicle's cooling system, I watched the technician's expression immediately change. He walked away, came back with another employee while on the phone, and after several minutes informed me that my car would no longer hold coolant and that I would need to have it towed away.
Let that sink in.
I arrived with a perfectly drivable vehicle and left with a vehicle that could not be driven.
I asked to speak with a manager and was told they had texted her multiple times and were waiting for a response. I was then told an employee was going to buy a part in hopes of fixing the problem. I received multiple apologies from staff, which made it seem like they recognized a mistake had occurred.
Unfortunately, once management became involved, the story changed completely.
I was told it was merely a coincidence and that Valvoline was not responsible.
The result? A $170 tow bill, multiple Uber rides, missed time, stress, and a vehicle sitting at a mechanic. As a single mother, this unexpected expense has created a financial hardship that I honestly don't know how I'm going to recover from this month.
The mechanic who inspected the vehicle afterward told me they should not have performed the coolant flush without understanding the specific requirements of a Fiat cooling system. According to him, a plastic air bleeder screw should have been opened first to prevent air pockets from forming. He believes failing to do so caused the issue.
Whether Valvoline agrees or not, the facts remain the same: I drove in with no coolant problems and drove out needing a tow truck.
Mistakes happen. I understand that. What has been most disappointing is the refusal to take accountability and the lack of concern for the impact this has had on a customer's life.
What was supposed to be a 15-minute oil change turned into one of the most stressful and expensive situations I've faced in years.
I hope sharing my experience prevents someone else from going through the same thing.
