  Worst experience. First they said my balance was $473.27 and then the day before my appointment the balance went up to over $540.00! I arrived 20min before my appointment and they did not have the part delivered yet and neglected to inform me before hand, so I wasted a 40min drive from Mayport Navy Base to safelite just to waste gas there and back. Also it starts raining while I am there and I had to stand in the parking lot holding a trash bag over my window getting soaking wet for 3 minutes while waiting on someone to drive my vehicle in the warehouse 10ft away! They did not reschedule the appointment or have an idea of when the part would arrive. I would not recommend taking their word for anything. Reference #072548

  Nate was my technician, and he was excellent. You never know how stressful servicing your vehicle is going to be, and Nate/Safelite made it stress-free. Not only did Nate arrive during the scheduled time, but he also called ahead of time to provide a more narrow window of arrival. He also called to say he was on the way and how far out he was. Nate was professional, polite, educational, and extremely efficient. I only had one crack on the windshield, and the service was completed in under 30 minutes. Thank you!

  My Fiance had the windshield replaced in her car. The next morning when getting into her car she noticed that the center console was cracked open. A couple days later she went in the center console to get her nephews Pokémon cards out and noticed 1 card that goes for over $100 was missing. This may seem silly but since when does replacing a windshield involve going into someone center console? That’s an invasion of privacy in itself. My fiance called safelight to make them aware of what happened and it was basically “oh well” “file a police report”. That’s your employee rummaging through your customers things that they have no business going through.

  Safelite “repaired” the windshield on my two Beamers and tampered with the recalibration and a hr after the appointment & neither of them work now! My appointment was rescheduled twice do the repair, let’s just start there. On the 3rd attempt to fix one windshield the tech did not secure the rearview mirror back to the glass and left wires hanging from it. I took the car back to Safelite and had them to properly attach the rearview mirror and its wires. Once that was done the technician said to me that I would have to have BMW to “fix” the recalibration and driver assistance alert camera system. Why? This system worked perfectly fine on BOTH of my cars before Safelite’s technicians touched them. Safelite’s 30-day warranty guarantee did not rectify this issue. Safelite needs to repair what they tampered with.

  What a terrible company. I am writing this because there is literally no one to talk to at Safelite. Go ahead and call them. There is absolutely no way to talk to a human. All phones route to their online FAQs. I booked my appt. online as instructed, then went to the center to have it repaired. After waiting an hour, they tell me that they don't have the glass for my car, and I'll need to reschedule. I come back, this time leaving the car and taking an Uber away to the office, only to get a call saying the glass they have is damaged and they need to order another. Leave the car there overnight and they will have it the next day. The next day they say they still don't have the glass and I'll need to pick up the car while they order it. I'm leaving this company for another one, two Uber rides poorer and three days wasted driving back and forth. I would have just told this to a manager, but no one answers their phone to hear about it.
