Me and my fiance are only 18 and starting from scratch with our finances but have been in need of a new car quickly. After going to another dealership and getting extremely let down and discouraged by not being able to qualify for financing, we decided we would try once more with this dealership. We met with Ty Richmond, who really stuck his neck out to be able to make this work. He was not only very upfront and honest, but had a great vibe and was very personable. He took us, who had no credit, no cosigner, and little time working, and was able to get us approved for financing out of practically nothing. We are so greatful for Ty and this dealership, and absolutely will be recommending him to anybody looking for a car.

This has been, without question, the worst vehicle purchasing and service experience I have ever had. In February 2026, we purchased a brand-new GMC Acadia from this dealership with 4 miles on it. The sales and finance process was smooth—almost too smooth. The Finance Manager was polished, but when I asked him to rerun the financing numbers with just me purchasing the vehicle, essentially he refused to do so. Despite having a 750+ credit score, I was told I did not qualify for the advertised low APR. I should have trusted my instincts. Normally, I have my financing arranged before I ever walk into a dealership. Unfortunately, I had recently totaled a vehicle I loved and needed transportation quickly. I wasn't operating under my usual circumstances, and I accepted their financing. That was my mistake. Less than a month later, I refinanced the Acadia myself at a substantially lower interest rate. Fast-forward six months. My brand-new Acadia with approximately 7,500 miles now has transmission problems. This morning, the vehicle would not stay running or drive, so it was towed into this dealership. I was told my appointment was scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM. Later, realizing no one had mentioned a loaner vehicle, I called to find out my options. The representative who answered - different from the person I spoke with this morning - told me my appointment wasn't until October and that he "didn't think there should be an issue" getting a loaner because the appointment was so far in advance. Sir. Are you connecting the dots here? My vehicle has a major mechanical problem now. It was towed into your dealership today. I was told I had an appointment tomorrow. And now you're telling me the appointment is actually in October? Because if that's the case, you're expecting me to go without transportation until October. I need a loaner now - not months from now. I was then told no one was available to speak with me and that my service advisor is out due to a family emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen and have sympathy for that situation. But I was then told, essentially, hopefully he'll be able to get back with you tomorrow and let you know your options. No. This is not a minor inconvenience. I have a 7,500-mile vehicle that was towed to your dealership because it will not drive. I need transportation to work and to live my life. "Hopefully someone will call you tomorrow" is not an acceptable response. The most disappointing part is the complete lack of urgency or ownership. At every turn, it feels like the priority is figuring out what is easiest for the dealership, not what is reasonable for the customer who just purchased a brand-new vehicle from them. Let's talk about the Acadia. I hate this vehicle. I tell everyone the same thing: She's really pretty, but she's real dumb. A brand-new vehicle with 7,500 miles should not be sitting on a tow truck because the transmission has apparently decided it has better things to do. Never again, GMC. Since my attempts to get someone's attention by phone have mostly resulted in voicemail purgatory, apparently the best way to get a response is to put the experience where everyone can see it. I will update this review as the situation progresses, including how the dealership handles the transmission failure, warranty repair, loaner situation, and overall resolution. At this point, they have a lot of work to do to convince me that purchasing this vehicle - & trusting this dealership - wasn't a very expensive mistake. Update - I called back again a few minutes after writing this review and asked the sweet receptionist to connect me with someone who cares about the customer experience and has the ability to solve a problem. She transferred me to Scott Baker, Cust. Exp. Mgr. He responded to my voicemail in a timely manner and called with a loaner vehicle ready for me. He also provided his cell & apologized for my experience. Then, ensured me this is not how they do business. Thankful that he was responsive & focused on resolution!

1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Experience After Purchasing My Car My experience with this dealership has been extremely frustrating. Since I purchased my car, I have been dealing with problems with the vehicle, and unfortunately, the customer service and support I have received afterward have been even more disappointing. The car started having problems shortly after I purchased it, and since then, I have contacted the dealership multiple times trying to get the situation resolved. It has now been three weeks since I have been waiting for a response, after my last call when I was told that someone would contact me. The problem is that every time either my boyfriend or I call for an update, we are given essentially the same answer: that their mechanic will call us “in 10 minutes” or “as soon as he is available.” And once again, nobody ever calls back. It is incredibly frustrating to have to constantly chase a dealership after purchasing a vehicle and not even receive a simple phone call or update. I understand that mechanical problems can happen, but the least I expect from a dealership is communication, transparency, and a genuine effort to help the customer resolve the issue. It has been three weeks now, and I am still waiting for a phone call that never comes. I feel like once they sold me the car, they stopped caring about me as a customer and about the problems I have been experiencing with the vehicle. I do not recommend this dealership, and based on my experience so far, I would not purchase another vehicle from them.

BUICK Service advisor can be ridiculous at times. Tom Treanor was my service advisor. They act so nice but sometimes they don't get things taken care of like they suppose too. WELL my driver seat where your back lies is having trouble going back and forth it's getting stuck. The first time I brought my car in they said it was dirt inside and had my car practically all day just to blow the dirt out as Tom Treanor says. He stated when I went to pick my car back up.He stated I had to come back because he order the parts and to make another appoinment. SO I made another appointment and they had my car again for several hours for only two of things I was having problems with to get fix but they didnt fix my chair problem. TOM Treanor stated all the Buick Envista seats are like that when you sit in those seats. That was the ridiculous thing I have heard . I looked over the paper work I was giving and he stated for the seat it wasn't a manufacturer defect present well I need to know what it is b/c I'm still having problems with my seat. He lied saying he would have them to fix my seat but wrote something else in the paper work is a foul move. My seat isn't fix and still having the same issue it was having when I brought it to Nichmict service department barely moving and getting stuck. Now they want me to bring my car back up their to Nichmict when they didnt fix my seat the first two times they had it for many hours. I don't like for my time to be wasted. This my 2nd time having a problem with the service department. They need to stop always lying and saying they did something when they didn't.The advisors at NImnicht love to say the can't fix certain things on the BUIck Envista so why have them on your lot? The rubber by the door was my first problem they stated they couldn't fix that b/c BUICK don't have anything for them to fix with it. I notice after returning my car a small piece of the rubber is torn and it wasn't like that when I drop my car off. And when I called to get the Nimicht brothers email to let them know how they're service advisor handle things everyone I spoke with over the phone gave me the run around never got their emails.

Jacksonville may be a big city, but that hometown, small-town feeling will always be the hero of the story for me. Our best friends of 30+ years bought their THIRD beautiful new 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate from Nimnicht, and Amy and I got to come along for the ride—literally and figuratively. And somewhere along the way, what could have simply been a vehicle purchase became an experience. Enter Nick D., the newbie. He’s only been at Nimnicht about a month and a half, and we are officially rooting for him. Absolute doll. Genuine, patient, funny, easygoing and willing to let everyone actually experience the truck instead of simply trying to sell one. Test ride. ✅ Explore all the bells and whistles. ✅ Park, hang out and listen to music because sometimes you need to know whether a vehicle really feels like yours. ✅ Then came my favorite part. Bob Marley on the outdoor Bluetooth speakers. Sitting on the back of our best friends’ soon-to-be new truck, surrounded by old friends and new ones, watching a Jacksonville day turn into night. We were still there close to an hour after closing. Nobody rushed us. Nobody made us feel like we were keeping them there. We talked. We laughed. We listened to music. We just enjoyed being together. Annie was wonderful. And Gus, the Great? What a cool human being. And my guy, Ty. One of those people you meet and immediately feel like you’ve known much longer than you actually have. That’s the thing. You can buy a truck anywhere. But you can’t manufacture belonging. You can’t put hometown hospitality on a window sticker. You can’t put a price on people giving you their time when technically their time with you was already over. And there’s certainly no price for sitting on a tailgate with people you’ve loved for more than 30 years while Bob Marley plays and another Florida day disappears into night. There’s not a price for all of that. Our best friends drove home with one hell of a beautiful truck. The rest of us drove home with another reminder that sometimes the best part of what you take home isn’t what you bought at all. Big Ty, Nick D., Annie, Gus and the whole Nimnicht crew—thank you for letting us be part of the experience. And Nick D.—keep being exactly who you are, newbie. We’re rooting for you. Five stars for the truck. Five stars for the humans. Five stars for the memories made along the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Courtesy. Respect. Fairness. Nobody But Nimnicht
