  Very disappointed with the way Mercedes service handled this situation. I lost the keys to my 2020 GLE and contacted a local locksmith who told me they could program a replacement Mercedes key and claimed to be the only locksmith in town that has the capabilities to program the new Mercedes keys. Several other locksmiths referred them and was told they were the only ones in town that could program the new Mercedes keys. Before going forward, I called the dealership for a second opinion. The dealership quoted significantly more and told me I would be waiting around 4–5 days. When I mentioned that a local locksmith had offered to do the job faster and without having to tow my vehicle anywhere, the service advisor repeatedly told me it was a “scam” and insisted that nobody outside the dealership could program these keys. The conversation came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. I decided to give the locksmith a chance anyway. Less than 48 hours later, my GLE was running again with an original Mercedes key, exactly as promised. I understand a dealership warning customers to be careful when choosing outside companies, but confidently telling a customer that a legitimate service is a scam when it clearly can be done is unacceptable. I expected better professionalism and more accurate information from a Mercedes-Benz service department.

  My tire pressure was low had it filled and the next day I was out of town for medical issue. I called Mercedes Benz in Jacksonville . I spoke with Julia Jackson that my tire pressure was low again she was very under and helpful made me and appointment to have someone check the tire. They found a screw in the tire and was able to replace. This dealership was very helpful. The dealership that I originally purchased my tires from was also helpful and emailed my invoice so I could use my warranty since they were replaced February 2025. I felt very much at ease since I needed to drive 120 + miles to get back home. The service department had me in and out pretty quickly.

  Needing car repairs are usually most stressful but Mercedes in Jacksonville has been a most amazing exception. Steve Robert’s was my advisor and he was the absolute best! Explaining, guiding and making this a most pleasant experience. Everyone I had contact w was exceptional from picking up my car to keeping in touch while it was being repaired to having it safely returned to me. I cannot give enough praise and I give my highest recommendation to Mercedes of Jacksonville!

He kept me informed throughout the entire service and made the experience smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and attention to detail.   Horrible service on my vehicle and horrible customer service, the only person that seemed to have a pulse was Steve, thanks Steve for your kindness. Came in about an issue with my def light staying on and having a countdown on the vehicle, they checked it out and I was told that it just needed to be reset and it'll cost me $285, I was relieved cause I was expecting to pay a few grand for the fix with everything I was hearing about this issue. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, everyone was gone so I had to wait until Monday to even pick up my vehicle. When I got the vehicle I was elated to see no def light and the countdown was gone, drove it Monday and Tuesday, no problem, but Wednesday rolls around here's this light again, and another countdown, so I'm back at square one all thanks to this dealership, and I would've been ok with horrible customer service with a fixed vehicle, but bad service and customer service is unacceptable, but thanks I appreciate it, now I know where not to go.
