Today I went by Mavis on bartram to get a flat repair I had just left tires plus from them telling me I needed a new tire even though the nail was right in the center of the tread an fairly new the manager Kami came with me to my car an told me it was patchable I was surprised but that also shows their are still true people in this world she got me in an out in no time an they seemed pretty busy the shop looked great too clean an approachable can’t say that with much other shops I appreciate her honesty instead of trying to sell me a tire like I was told I got out with a patch an sent on my way very pleased with the service today thank you Mavis!!!!!

This was my first time coming into a new shop which I never really do because you can never trust many mavis on bartram really impressed me today got me out with 4 new tires and a alignment at a great promotional discount the front desk people are very friendly and not hostile at all I will definitely be back i have seen some bad reviews an honestly feel they just didn't get what they wanted at the end of the day because I didn't have any bad vibes coming to a new place you can't trust much of what anyone says my personal experience as a first timer was great an appreciate the patience they had with me they won't lie to your face they would rather show you what's Goin on before they sell you anything IN PERSON con guys when was the last time you could trust anyone like that they dont try to upset you on stuff you dont need an I will deffinetly be recommending them to my family an friends thank you mavis an kami the young lady I dealt with

Today I stopped by Mavis at Village Lake Circle in Jacksonville because I needed some help with my tire. The new Assistant Manager, Vlad, asked me how he could assist, and wow—he went above and beyond to help me!

I’m very disappointed with my experience at this location. I brought my car in for service, and afterward my wheel-lock key was missing from the pouch where I keep it. The pouch was left wide open on my passenger seat. When I called, I was first told that the employee had put my wheel-lock key back. I explained that it was NOT put back because I checked and it wasn’t there. After I said that, the story changed. I was then told they had found a wheel-lock key, but that it was supposedly for a different type of car and they weren’t sure if it was mine. My sister went there to pick it up for me, and after she sent me a picture, we believe it ours. That is what bothered me the most about this whole situation. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but I did not appreciate being told that my wheel-lock key had been put back when it clearly hadn’t and then having the story change once I questioned it. It made me feel like instead of just being honest and saying they had misplaced it and then found it, they were trying to make it seem like the key they found wasn’t mine. I also didn’t appreciate the way I was spoken to when I was understandably upset about an item from my vehicle being misplaced. My sister was even told that if I “keep calling with an attitude,” which I found very unprofessional considering I was trying to get my own property back. Thankfully, I got my wheel-lock key back, but the way this was handled and the conflicting information I was given made me lose trust in this location. Please be careful when you go to these shops and always check your vehicle the moment you get back into it. I didn’t do that because it was pouring rain, I had my kids with me and I had already been there for two hours and needed to rush home. Unfortunately, I trusted that everything had been put back where it belonged.

Brakes started grinding a week after new rotors and linings. The fact that they failed isn't what annoys me, parts can fail just fix it and move on. What annoys me is when I'm told "pine needles got stuck in your brakes causing your grinding" to avoid reimbursement for towing. Pine needles might make sense if it was a bike and I wasn't driving a 2000 lb murder machine. (Wood burns). Not driving a car on the highway with grinding brakes protects both mavis and me from legal trouble, a towing cost is pennies in comparison to being held liable for a car crash. What scares me most is that this type of lie is not something a service advisor would do without management approval, which is just plain irresponsible for management.
