- PSPauley SmithApr 24, 20261.0First time at this Mavis location, Brought my car in for a deep creaking noise when turning at slow speeds and going over bumps at slow speeds. The guys diagnosed the problem as my shocks and struts need replacing, so I took their word as I’ve never had an issue at a Mavis before. $1600 later, I pick up my car and the problem is exactly the same if not worse. They even told me when I picked it up, the noise isn’t completely gone, but it’s better, which was a red flag already. While I have an old car, and those parts were likely due for replacement, the issue I brought the car in for was completely unsolved and after spending $1600 I cannot afford to go get it fixed elsewhere. To their credit the team was friendly.
