I'm giving 4 stars because, unfortunately, my experience with my service advisor, **Bill M.**, did not meet the level of customer service I've come to expect from this dealership. However, everyone else from the technicians to the sales staff and other advisors have been outstanding.
During my first visit with him, communication was very poor. I received very few updates throughout the six-hour service appointment. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, Bill simply handed me paperwork, tossed me a pen, and asked me to sign. He never reviewed what the technician had completed, explained the paperwork, or discussed my options regarding an important safety recall.
The recall involved the third-row seats and whether they automatically stop when encountering an obstruction. After reading the paperwork myself, I realized there were multiple options available, including signing a waiver to keep the feature as originally designed, since I don't have young children. Instead, the third row had been disconnected and left permanently upright without anyone discussing those options with me. Thankfully, I had already researched the recall beforehand and requested that the vehicle be returned to its original configuration. I also don't recall ever being asked to sign the waiver associated with that decision.
The technician, Forest I believe, was fantastic. He listened to my concerns, reconnected the system as requested, and ensured everything was working properly.
When I returned after a replacement part arrived, I assumed I would be assigned to him since he had worked with me just a week ago. I stood waiting while several other advisors kindly asked if I needed assistance. Bill sat in front of me without acknowledging me until another advisor pointed out that I had been waiting. His response was simply, "Oh...name?" There was no greeting or apology.
To make matters worse, Bill also called my husband, whose name is on the account, and my husband commented afterward that his tone on the phone was unpleasant as well.
This experience was disappointing because every interaction we've had with this dealership from purchasing our vehicle to previous service visits has been exceptional. I truly hope Bill improves his communication and customer service because the rest of the team has been excellent.
Despite this experience, I would highly recommend this dealership. The technicians, sales staff, and other service advisors have all been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. The food was also very tasty. They are the reason I'm still giving 4 stars.
