- JHJohn HaleOct 7, 20262.050/50 chance of getting your car as reserved. I have had good experiences and really bad experiences with this location. Today, I arrived just after my scheduled time to pickup the minivan I reserved. Two other customers were waiting ahead of me. The representative was quick to acknowledge me and get me checked in. He asked if I was flexible on what I was renting; and I said no, I need the minivan. Ok, no problem. Slowly, the other cars were brought up for the other customers, by now about 30-45 minutes had passed. Another customer walked in who needed to extend her rental while I waited. After finishing with her, the representative informed me, that the minivan I reserved was with this customer that he just extended the rental on and he would need to bring a van from another location! So instead of just being honest upfront with me that they did not have the car on hand; they tried to play a shell game while I wasted an hour of my day. Had I known that upfront; I would not have released my ride that dropped me off and I would have made other arrangements. So now I know, if someone asks me in the future if I'm flexible with my rental; that's car rental speak for "we don't have a car for you" and I should ask some direct questions at that point. I eventually obtained a minivan at another location two hours later, only to find it reeked of cigarette smoke. The situation was honestly just comical at this point, and I took it as a sign that I should not be renting a car from Enterprise today.
