  We recently took our 30-foot Class A motorhome to Cummins of Jacksonville because our Onan generator would shut down shortly after the electrical load transferred to it. This happened multiple times on two separate trips, so it was clearly an intermittent issue that needed to be diagnosed. After dropping it off, we received a call saying they were unable to duplicate the problem. We were then charged for two hours of labor, but from what we were told, the only thing they did was let the generator idle for those two hours. No diagnostic testing or meaningful troubleshooting was performed. We understand that intermittent issues can be difficult to reproduce, but we expected a more thorough diagnostic process rather than simply letting the generator run. Instead, we paid for two hours of labor and left with the same unresolved problem and no answers.

  I wanted to thank everyone at Cummins Jax. Fl. location. I Went in with air purging issue. The service department got me in and got right on it. Upon servicing the air dryer . The Technician found another issue we had ! This was after taking the Coach back to Red Bay 2 times !!! Everything was done at Cummings Jacksonville at the time that they said it would be completed . Also at the cost that they said it would be completed at . With a very professional manner. Highly recommended Cummins Jacksonville!!

  Brought out class A in because our Onan generator was quiting after being on 5 minutes, running rough. My husband is a somewhat mechanic and did all the cks before we brought it in. Gave us an extremely high estimate for the repairs, couldn't guarantee the parts would come in, in a timely manner.....we had already been there 2 days, waiting. Decided to leave without the repair and have our hometown repair guy look at it. Well, low and behold, we got home only to have to take off again, without air, because of a supposedly broken generator, it now works. Beautifully, smoothly....no repairs. What the heck?????? They were going to charge us over $3000 to fix our supposedly broken generator? Really????? I would soooo question ANYTHING they recommend. Also gave us an estimate for over $8000 for problems with the engine..... WHAT? We haven't had any engine problems......BEWARE!
