  Fantastic customer service from start to finish! Patrick was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to making sure I was taken care of. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my transmission was fixed right the first time. Truly a hard-working shop that cares about its customers!

  DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE!!! Another transmission place asked if I was sure this place actually replaced my transfer case because nothing shows up on my carfax whatsoever from them and for 6k it should have lasted longer than 2 years. Very weird.

  I went to this establishment to ask questions about a vehicle I was considering to purchase. The staff gave me a wealth of knowledge concerning the vehicle and transmission.

  patrick needs some serious customer service training. He's always irritated and annoyed answering the simplest questions. I get it, probably underpaid and overworked but nobody forced him into that job. Not to mention my transfer case is out again after only 3 years of them replacing it. Also they're already 3 star rated so just go somewhere else where they're happy to have your business.

  Do NOT take your vehicle to these clowns!!! They’re completely competent!! Had my truck 3 weeks. Runs like shit and leaks transmission fluid all over my garage!! Their people are incompetent!! You have been warned. I am adding some additional information. They took my truck back for an additional 10 days (25 days total). My truck never ran right. Continued to leak fluid until I finally had my local GMC dealer replace it with a new one. American Transmission refuses to reverse the charges to my VISA (over $5800!!). They are dishonest people who defrauded me and replaced my transmission with someone else’s. My GMC dealer took lots of pics for me of all the issues with the work performed by the clowns at American Transmission. BE SMART! Do not let these people touch your vehicle.
