  BEWARE !! Think long and hard prior to utilizing this company. American Transmissions has provided my repair facility with TWO defective units in a row. My 2020 Ford Explorer has been of of commission for now for 57 days total as of September 01, 2026 Even though there is a three year 100,000 mile warranty on the defective transmissions this vendor has offered no type of compensation for the loss of income I have incurred due to the bad transmissions received ( not even a rental vehicle offer) Both transmissions received were operable less than 1 day before exhibiting issues that prevented further use of my vehicle.

  Fantastic customer service from start to finish! Patrick was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to making sure I was taken care of. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my transmission was fixed right the first time. Truly a hard-working shop that cares about its customers!

  DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE!!! Another transmission place asked if I was sure this place actually replaced my transfer case because nothing shows up on my carfax whatsoever from them and for 6k it should have lasted longer than 2 years. Very weird.
