I did it myself in the parking lot and it worked. He is very patient very customer friendly and I would highly recommend going to the store.
- JPJeff PiesAug 3, 20265.0The battery prices are always going to be higher at a place like this than at Costco, but sometimes it's worth paying extra for convenience and they'll install the battery for free in about 15 minutes if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. Daxtin was very helpful when I needed a new battery for each of my two cars. He found a manufacturer's coupon for one and offered to install the one of the batteries on-site, which I appreciated because it was starting to rain and it meant I only needed to replace one battery at home. When I returned an hour later with the other used battery, the core refund process went smoothly. All in all, no complaints. This location is well stocked with just about every part anyone would need, it's conveniently located with ample parking, Daxtin was friendly and knowledgable and the prices aren't terrible compared to the other retail parts stores if you use a coupon.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
