Store manager Jeremy at store 9298 is the epitome of the last few truly "good ones" remaining that customers prefer dealing with and depend on. His exceptionally outstanding knowledge about cars, his genuine displayed initiative to help others and his respected way of running his store are admired, appreciated and impressive. I walked in and before I could get to the wiper blade aisle, they offered to help. They referenced the vehicle, found the blades, and installed them in no time. Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
