- PCPaul CrouchMar 14, 20265.0Carey, the service manager and Kris, the mechanic, worked closely with me to get my 2001 Honda S2000 transmission fixed in time for a track event next month at the Daytona Speedway road course. Being unable to locate the first and second gear synchronizers and hub for that year's gearbox, we located an E-bay sourced transmission for a 2008 model and had it shipped to the shop. It was in the car in about 24 hours!!! It works great. Could not be happier. They are keeping my old transmission to repair as a spare, if and when I find compatible parts. If unable to find them, Kris even agreed to meet me in Gainesville to return the former gearbox!!! Worth the 85 mile drive from Gainesville to Jacksonville!!! After this fix, I broke my axle at Daytona Speedway and just like before, Action Transmission came through again, installing a newer axle and new catalytic converter. Now, my car is quieter and has more torque! Awesome service again.
