- GRGerard Restaino6 days ago1.0The interaction I had with the individual who assisted me was extremely unsatisfactory. Despite his apparent disinterest in working at the establishment, he inquired about the installation of batteries in the car I had mentioned. To my surprise, he informed me that the batteries had not been installed, despite the fact that other locations had done so on my car on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture his name due to the absence of his name tag. However, I can describe him as a short Hispanic male with gray and black hair. I strongly advise against visiting this location, as my experience was highly negative. Consequently, I drove to a different store.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
