⭐ Very disappointing experience – unexpected additional charges after returning the car Unfortunately, after our experience, I cannot recommend this Enterprise location in Hialeah. We rented a vehicle here twice during our stay in Florida and already paid a considerable amount for the rentals, including additional insurance/Damage Waiver coverage. What disappointed me the most was the situation regarding toll roads. We specifically asked the employee at the counter whether we could use toll roads and whether there would be any additional costs. Based on the information we were given, we understood that we could use them without having to worry about unexpected additional charges. After returning the vehicles, however, we received additional TollPass charges: $60.50 for the first rental and another $18.18 for the second rental – a total of $78.68 in additional charges. Only after receiving the detailed statements did we realize that, in addition to the actual tolls, we had also been charged significant TollPass convenience/service fees. The service fees alone totaled $44.55. When I contacted Enterprise to complain, I was told that the employee “may have misunderstood” our question and that the information about the fees was included in the rental agreement. For me, that is not good enough. If a customer specifically asks about additional costs, the employee should clearly explain them before the customer leaves with the vehicle – especially when there is an additional $4.95 service fee per 24-hour toll usage day. After complaining, Enterprise offered, as a “one-time courtesy,” to refund only 50% of the service fee for ONE of the two rental agreements. I had actually planned to rent from this location again on my next trip to Florida, but after this experience I will definitely look elsewhere. My advice to other travelers: Compare prices with rental locations at Miami International Airport as well. The airport is only about 15 minutes from Hialeah depending on traffic, and we found much cheaper rental options there. Also, ask for a clear explanation of TollPass, insurance and ALL possible additional fees before signing anything. The most frustrating part is that some of these charges only appear on your credit card after you have already returned the vehicle. Very disappointing. Clear and transparent information at the time of rental could have prevented this entire situation.

The best place to rent from. Hats off to everyone that works there, especially Ana, very professional; her and Rudy. They really do need a raise. Was there when an out of towner was there to pick up their rental, and the woman just complained and complained about everything; even her husband couldn't calm her down. Just embarrassed the husband and daughter, what do you expect in a place of buisness that's short staffed...??? Those agents did there best to get you in and out as fast as possible, and they deserve a raise. Some people are just rude, and obnoxious and theirs no pleasing them. A++ for Ana and her team, I'll be back time and time again... Thanks Enterprise, you got my buisness; and I will be telling Family & Friends to check you guys out first before going any place else...

If I had to summarize my experience with enterprise in one word, it would be encapsulated by "frustrating." First of all, I booked my rental four weeks in advance. It was not last-minute, and I expected everything would be ready for my pickup day, but to my surprise, it was not. On my way to Enterprise, while I was already in an Uber, someone from their office called to let me know that the rental was not ready. The rental I scheduled over a month ago was not ready on the day that I was supposed to pick it up. To make matters worse, they told me I would have to go to another location to pick up a van. So, I had to pay for another Uber to go to an entirely separate place. Then, three days after I got a van, the change oil light came on, so I informed Enterprise, and they suggested I fix the issue myself. The lady even said it was easy to do. I’m not familiar with the inner workings of cars, and it shouldn’t fall on the customer to service a car, regardless of whether I were a mechanic or not. The next day, I got in the car to take it to Enterprise, and it wouldn’t start. So, Enterprise picked up the car and sent me to a Pembroke Pines location to get a replacement. When I arrived, the attendant told me they had a van, but the tires needed to be changed, and it would take 2-4 hours. This was totally unacceptable because I had 14 passengers, including 3 disabled adults, waiting for me to pick them up. After waiting SIX HOURS for a new van, I was finally able to get a replacement at Ft. Lauderdale Airport. And it was substantially smaller and could not fit all of the passengers and luggage I had to carry. Despite all the inconvenience, stress, and inconsistency I experienced, no apology was issued to me, and I was still charged the full price. I would've given them negative stars if that was possible.
