  Went in for oil change. Staff was very kind and friendly. Had a glitch with light but staff went above and beyond to fix.

  I went into Tuffy's for a concern about my wheel on my truck being hot and smoking. Tracy & Jimbo at Gulf Breeze Tuffy's checked it out, determined the issue, and had it repaired quickly. "Love This Place"

  I went in today for a 2nd opinion on my timing belt on my 2009 Acura TL technology package. They tried to upsell me on a driving belt tensioner which did not solve the problem at all! The major problem/ issue is still 100% there! I asked the front desk girl after it was installed that the issue was never fixed like they all (the mechanics and Jimbo/ David) told me it would before the work was started and done! I am in shock! I asked multiple times are you sure this is the issue?! Every single on of the mechanics said yes this is the issue! I went to 2 other mechanic highly reputable shops immediately after I was ripped off for $293 dollars! Not to mention the two shops I went to this morning before going to Tuffys and they all said it was the timing belt! Every single shop said it was my timing belt and it needs to be replaced ASAP! I went to Tuffys in good faith in a vulnerable situation. Avoid this shop like the plague! I feel utterly disgusted that a shop would stoop down to such a low level to take advantage of someone in a critical situation trying to get his car fixed! The mechanic literally said, it must be something internal in the engine after he replaced my belt which appeared to be fine! Please reach out to me if you'd like to discuss resolving this situation. The picture attached below shows the mechanic installing the new driving belt which only took a few minutes. He obviously knows it didn't fix the car at all! Unbelievable! I spoke with Josh the manager at the nearby Tuffys store to help resolve this situation. You have violated the Florida’s Motor Vehicle Repair Act.
