  Apologies to the Technician, his name was Abby or Abi I dont know about the spelling, but his workmanship and professionalism was absolutely amazing courtesy call before my appointment let me know an estimated arrival window. Knowledgeable about his work and answered all my questions. Explained the warranty that safelite has and was over very positive to deal with. It really seemed as though Abi cared about his job which is somthing so incredibly refreshing in today's service industry. Would hire him if I had my own company. Safelite also made it incredibly easy and straight-forward the whole booking process online took just a few minutes and they handled everything very quickly with my insurance, and next morning appoint to repair my cracked winshield from a rock.

  I called to have a rear window replaced my first quote was in the 300s I said there's a dent in the cab the woman I spoke to said oh we don't do that call an auto body shop and hung up on me I went online got an estimate it was in the 500s I needed that back window I made the appointment they said they were going to come to my property I got a text at 8 o'clock in the morning four hours before the scheduled appointment saying we have rescheduled your appointment you have come to our shop an hour away at 7:30 AM the next day and your new quote is $780 and let me be clear All of these quotes were from Safelite I finally ended up with a local company who were polite kind wonderful understood my situation and half the price

  Safelite replaced my damaged windshield with an aftermarket windshield. I wasn’t notified nor did I approve this product on my Mercedes. Additionally, the service technician sent me a text he was done. I went outside & he was gone. Not only did I notice the aftermarket windshield, I have damaged to my headliner. I tried to call, the phone rang, no voicemail. I messaged the technician, he asked her to call me the manager isn’t out today. I called back to report the damage & no one ever answered the phone. Idk about you, this is unacceptable

  Our tech was Matthew from Gainesville. One of our work trucks needed a windshield replacement. To take time out of our day to bring the truck to Gainesville and back would have considerable time in an already busy schedule. Sending your tech Matthew saved us time and money. We received text reminders of the appt and a call from Matthew personally before he arrived. He was very courteous, professional and did the job quickly. Job well done. Keep this tech!

  The windshield which was installed was damaged and needed to be replaced. Our installer indicated Safelite would call to reschedule a replacement time. This did not occur so I attempted to reach them. After being hung up on 3 times and told to go to the website to schedule, I can say, I would not likely use this company again. It is virtually impossible to actually speak to a customer service rep. Perhaps they don't even have one. I am now downgrading the review. After having to call the insurance and getting them to call Safelite they assured me they would call to schedule. 3 weeks later new glass had still not been ordered and no one called to schedule an appointment or say the glass was in from Safelite. I needed to call insurance again, who put me through to Safelite again, who indicated they would order the glass that day. Dealing with Safelite has been an experience I will avoid in the future. This is the Gainesville, FL location.
