  Great place. Previously, went to the dealer, and they left bolt loose on my lower control arms so I stopped into Mavis. Because , of course , I wasn't going to go back to the dealer after the horrifying experience of rattling noises underneath my car. The mechanic Elvis pulled my car in, Found my sway links to need replaced after he replaced the swalnlings he also Fixed the loose bolts, absolutely great place

  Be careful with doing business with this location. On Tuesday, 6/16, I came into this location for a simple brake and rotors replacement on my 2024 Hyundai Tucson and waited for 3 hours before finally giving up and taking an uber home. This location required that I pay before the work was completed. Only for their technician Chris to give me a call at 4pm to tell me their team messed up a bolt when replacing the parts and needed to order a replacement part that would arrive in the morning. The next following day, the part did not arrive and this location spent the entire day lying saying that they would provide a complimentary vehicle and changing their story to this was a manufacture defect, and this would be escalated to their Regional Manager. This was a complete lie! It was until I have had to call GPD to report theft of vehicle and called Mavis corporate office, who informed me that I was required to pay before the work was completed and transferred me to the Regional Manager, where I learned the store actually could not locate the part and I would be out of my vehicle for a week!! My wife and I have two kids: a 6 year old and a 9 month old. This car is only transportation and so far we had to pay for Ubers and rent a vehicle to get around town! I have request a refund and this store has repeatedly denied my request while still holding my vehicle un-repaired and without a timeline as to when I will get my vehicle back! I would not recommend doing business with this location and they seem highly incompetent and should be working on vehicles that they are skilled on!

  I called and ordered 2 rear tires to my Benz. They told me come they got it.. when I got there they told me they only have one.. so I had to leave and go home.. they called back saying they got my 2 tires.. then I went back.. then they told me it was the wrong size tires.. I was ofcourse upset because they wasted my time and money/gas.. for ‘nothing.. now no one wants to take responsibility.. when I was explaining my discomfort (respectfully) to the bald guy infront the desk.. he was very dismissive and disrespectful. Mavis needs to do a shuffle and get some people out of there. No good quality people that can even understand why the customer is upset. Very not pleasant experience at Mavis in Gainesville 441 by Walmart. Be on top of the situation because they are slackers.
