  Gainesville Airport Location Simple process. Affordable. Helpful and friendly staff. My recent experience with Enterprise was the least inconvenient part of an otherwise challenging week. I was a satisfied customer.

  We reserved an 8 passenger vehicle and called three separate times before our trip to confirm that it would be available. Each time, we were assured that it would be. When we arrived, however, we were informed that there was no 8 -passenger vehicle available. Instead, we were given a large Mercedes van. With no other options, we had no choice but to accept it. On the second day of our trip, the vehicle suddenly lost power and would not accelerate. We contacted Enterprise immediately and were told that a tow truck would pick up the vehicle and that a replacement would be ready for us. Unfortunately, the tow truck did not arrive until approximately 11:00 pm. We then took an Uber to the airport to pick up our replacement vehicle, only to discover that there was no replacement available—and once again, no 8 passenger vehicle. Fortunately, the manager at National Car Rental in Memphis, TN was incredibly helpful and understanding. Thanks to their efforts, we were finally able to get an 8-passenger vehicle.We did not return to our Airbnb until around 12:30 am, after spending an entire day dealing with this situation. Throughout this ordeal, we repeatedly tried calling the Enterprise location in Gainesville, but no one answered. We also contacted Enterprise customer service, where we experienced disconnected calls and received inaccurate information. As a result, we lost an entire day of our vacation. To make matters worse, we were traveling with two minors who were stranded with us for hours in an unfamiliar area while waiting for assistance.We repeatedly explained this to Enterprise representatives, but there was little sense of urgency or support. Our experience highlighted several serious concerns: 1. The vehicle was apparently not properly inspected before it was rented to us. 2. Enterprise was unreliable during an emergency and failed to provide timely assistance. 3. Communication between the local office and customer service was extremely poor, making an already stressful situation even worse. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend renting from this Enterprise location.! We expected a reliable vehicle and dependable customer service, but unfortunately received neither.
