  Read reviews of each rental car company on-site at Fort Myers FL airport - focusing on service, customer reviews of claims, and pricing. Decided to choose Enterprise. Making an online reservation was simple, straight forward, and displayed price transparency. We downloaded the enterprise app. Checked in on the app. When we arrived to Enterprise Fort Myers, FL, we were greeted by staff, walked to our car rental, and driving to our vacation destination within 10 minutes. Upon return, we pulled up, they checked out the vehicle, and sent us our e-receipt. No hidden charges.

  We had a reservation for convertible. For whatever reason, there was no convertibles available when we arrived even though that was reserved. We were told a Jeep Wrangler was same in price, a little more. That was a lie. When we wanted our price adjusted for what we actually rented. We were told we couldn't, and would have to show up earlier when we dropped the car off. Not ok for us. I can understand a problem with a vehicle being available, but being lied to about the cost is not okay. I will never use enterprise again.

  Couldn't have had a smoother or better experience. Reservation was so easy on the app. Checking in on app was easy too, no waiting in long line at rental desk counter. Walked right to enterprise at the airport, showed my reservation on phone, picked which car, hopped in and we were on our way. Returning the car was just as easy. Receipt was emailed to me. Spouse can drive car free of charge. Car had low miles, was clean, and in great shape for a rental.

  I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise at the Fort Myers RSW Airport facility. I reserved and paid for a large pickup truck, but when I arrived, I was told by the check-in counter staff that they were "upgrading" me to an SUV. In reality, the SUV was smaller than the vehicle I originally reserved and did not match what I had paid for. To make matters worse, I was incorrectly charged for fuel even though I returned the vehicle with a completely full tank. I provided customer service with documentation proving the tank was full, but they still refused to issue a refund or acknowledge their mistake. Based on my experience, Enterprise seems more focused on upcharging customers than providing honest customer service. The entire experience was frustrating, and their unwillingness to correct an obvious billing error was unacceptable. I will never use Enterprise again and will never recommend their services to anyone.
